It’s ok and convenient to say the least to Lego land which was the main purpose of the visit.
LEGOLAND Castle Hotel, themed as a castle in LEGO style, is located outside of the main entrance of LEGOLAND® Billund Resort, and 2625 feet from Lalandia Water Park.

Really fun hotel. The rooms were perfectly appointed for a family. The kids had their own little space within the room.
It is also within walking distance to all the Lego attractions and the downtown area, which has a few stores and restaurants.
LEGOLAND Holiday Village is only 2297 feet from LEGOLAND and next to Lalandia Water Park. On-site facilities include a landscaped park with a petting zoo and a children’s playground.

The location is good that only walking distance to Lego Land and Lalandia. At Lalandia there are food street, supermarket and also some children's play facilities.
Horses, llamas and ostriches are among the variety of animals living on the Øst Trøgelborg Farm Holiday site.

Small but cosy, enough space for my family of 6! I liked the welcome from the friendly dogs, and it’s was lovely to wake up to the animals. Great that there’s a park, although because the time of the year, we didn’t use it.
Just 1.1 miles from Legoland Billund and a 8-minute walk from LEGO House Billund, Billund Center Apartment features accommodations in Billund, with barbecue facilities.

Billund is a small town of 6k people, so very easy to walk around and you're not far from anything you wnat to see.
Multiple supermarkets, bakery and restaurants.
And everywhere you walk, you are reminded that it's the home of Lego!
The superb Lego House is central, with lots of other buildings (not available to public)spread about.
Bus to and from airport can be bit tricky without Danish Kroner.
Lovely town, enjoyable few days there.

We went to Billund for Legoland and Lego House but found the town very accessible and charming. Everything was a short walk away, on paved pathways separate from traffic. There are so many accessible play structures and places to explore.
Eating options were a bit limited, so plan ahead. We went to Atami (all you can eat sushi served by robots) and did a grocery store picnic one night.

Two nights in Billund was plenty to see LEGO House.
Two nights in Billund was plenty to see LEGO House. Our kids were too old to see LEGOland so staying town in was preferable. Good dinners both evenings at local restaurants. Bus to Copenhagen was a breeze, just be sure to book far in advance.

Drinks are very expensive.
Drinks are very expensive. Go to the supermarket and take with you. Resturants charge 35 (£3.50) for tap water. The playline is a fun way to get children walking to each place. Everything is within a 30min walk. Free WiFi in legoland and lalandia. Resturants in town are really not worth the money. The family buffet in legoland was worth the money. Amazing food, free drinks and coffee and ice cream. Lalandia have evening entertainment, so if you are staying in a basic room. I reccomend going there in the evening. You can get a decent meal, soft play is open till 9.30pm (£6 pp) bowling, mini golf, rock-climbing, alpine coaster, singers and stage entertainment.

Billund = Lego - not much else to do
Billund = Lego - not much else to do
Lego House excellent for all ages (be sure to visit the basement history exhibition) Legoland OK but aimed at pre teens - albeit with a few small rollercoaster rides
Good food at Gastropub next to Legohouse (but expensive , £80 for two burgers , 1 sweet and 3 drinks)
Good reasonably priced pizza an Mamma's
Billund bakery (on main street) great for coffee, cakes and sandwiches
We booked two rooms at the Hotel Refborg for a trip to Billund to visit the Lego House and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel far exceeded our expectations and the dinner in the restaurant ended up being a surprise highlight of our week in Denmark! For travelers with children, the hotel offers rooms with bunkbeds and a lovely upstairs playroom with games and, of course, lots of LEGO. The hotel is also walking distance from the Lego House and a great playground/community area. I highly recommend the Refborg!
The hotel staff were super helpful (we asked for a cot on check in and it was brought to our room immediately)! The restaurant/communal space was very nice including games and a Lego corner. The room was on the small side, but super functional (space to put all the stuff you need for a night). It definitely worked for our family of four. It's in walking distance to the airport as well and as far as I understand there is a shuttle bus to Legoland (but that could also be reached by walking). All in all a very pleasant stay!
The Lodge is a perfect stay for Legoland and Lalandia, both parks are 400 meters away. A location is a quiet place, close to a town park. The hotel itself is a little bit outdated, but it does not influence the whole experience. Breakfast is good, but I would not recommend dinnerin the restaurant for people with kids, it is not really kids friendly and are quite expensive as for the experience you get.
Beautiful surroundings, clean and cozy apartment, very kind host who helped us arrange a cheap transfer to Legoland (a classic taxi from the airport was 3x more expensive, the driver asked us which way should he go even though it was our first time in Billund and didn’t return a proper amout of cash - okay that was my bad that I trusted him).
Kids did enjoy the pirate room we were in for 3 nights.
Breakfast was really good.
The everyone usage kitchen was good - in the evenings it was almost empty (the hotel part everyone’s kitchen).
Location was good (Lalaland and Legoland).
Free shuttle bus airport and all relevant location was really good and extremely friendly driver!
Excellent location for Legoland and Lego House and for all Billund. Loved the hotel decor, food at dinner and the breakfast. Nice lego room for kids. Very conveniently located, food store next door. Clean room! Great bunkbed, our son loved it. Nice little souvenir shopping can be done inside the hotel, great little store there..
Very nice quiet location between fields and forest, close to Legoland. Friendly owners who tried to make us feel at home. Very good for our young boy with a small playground, a very cheerful and friendly dog and of course the horses. Nice outside terrace to have breakfast. Practical little kitchen with everything we needed.
Perfect hotel for lego fans as this hotel is build around lego theme. There is a bus station in front of the hotel and it's close to lego house and across the street from legoland. The breakfast was great and my son really loved the room and kids zone. The stuff was very helpful and nice.
We enjoyed our stay! Nice, clean place, lots of nature and animals. Fully equipped kitchen, towels, sheets included. We were travelling by bus - 10 min walk to main road, bus arrives every hour, drives to airport (3 min) Legoland and city centre (Lego house) around 6 min, cash needed.
There is lots provided to keep children entertained. The location is very peaceful but also just outside Billund and Legoland. Good amenities provided for arranging own food and drink. I also think it is very good value for Denmark which is an expensive country for tourists.
It’s a lovely property, well set up for extended families; especially welcoming of children, with a wonderful kitchen and lots of space to spread out. It is well situated in a beautiful rural area, with close proximity to Lego House and Legoland.
I liked the location of the apartment. It was really near the city center and also the Legoland was walkable distance away. We even walked from and to the airport but it is possible to take the bus also.
the property was perfect. only 5 minutes away from the airport, over the road from legoland. amazing activities, the property was so clean and tidy and comfortable (just didn’t have a tin opener)
Visiting legoland it is good value for money, walking distance, cosy hotel, with friendly staff and excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. Free Wi-Fi and play room for kids
