A perfect base to explore the mountains and walk the marked hiking trails in the area. The host, Pedro, was very communicative prior to check in and when we arrived he spent a lot of time explaining where we could go/ what we could do. His parents who were hosting throughout our stay were so lovely and couldn’t do any more for us. They made the experience extremely relaxing and memorable. Particularly loved the view for breakfast, the hammock in the evening and the friendly cat :) I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax, unwind, and do some hiking.

Providing mountain views, Casa do Fundo - Sustainable & Ecotourism in Seia provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Great place with wonderful atmosphere. The hostess was a very nice guy with very good hospitality. Nice and romantic casa, very clean, cosy and neet!!! I recommend you to get there and I'll come back for shore.

Besides the property being absolutely serene and beautiful, the owner was so helpful and responsive. Was such a joy to spend time with him. Helped us with directions and sites to see. Would highly recommend this lovely place.

Casas do Terreiro terletak di Seia, 6 km dari Muzium Roti. Terdapat bilik permainan di lokasi dan tetamu juga boleh menjamu selera di restoran di lokasi. Penginapan ini menawarkan ruang tempat duduk. Upon arriving at this guest house one would wonder where they are. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere but that is exactly the charm of it. We were immeditaely very warmly greeted by Carlos and taken to a lovely room which was immaculate. A bottle of local wine was waiting for us. We were asked if we would like dinner and were then give a few choices. We were there off season and were the only guests in the restaurant so dinner was prepared especially for us and it was fabulous!!! Made with so much love. The same for breakfast. Our table was laid out with so many nice choices and again, just for us. The dinning area is so quaint. Really quite special. After having been surrounded by ship tourists this place was exactly what we were seeking. If you are looking for some peace and quiet and a piece of authentic countryside this is the perfect place.

Easy to find, close to supermarket, solid construction, nice garden, place for parking, clean room, hot water, wi-fi, fantastic breakfast… Everything! Words are not enough to describe Elsa’s hospitality and care. It’s 12 of 10! Will definitely stay at SerraVale again.
