We spent there a week and if it would be possible we stay longer or return again.

Quinta das Faias is a 4-hectare property in Madeira Island, situated in the lush Paradise Valley by the village of Camacha. Everything exceeded our expectations. The photos simply cannot capture the timeless charm or quality of detail of the cottage or the magnificence of the entire property. The place was spotlessly clean and fresh. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, kitchen facilities generous and water pressure/heat excellent. Check-in and entry via rental car was easy and the owner, Filipe, made us feel very welcome. The location was the ultimate "close yet far away" lodging experience we crave.

Perfect for guests seeking to experience country living on Madeira, these chalets are tucked away on a private estate near Camacha, a village near Funchal. Lovely place -really tranquil and peaceful. Cottages are very quaint and welcoming - we had a lovely stay. Beautiful trees and gardens surrounding the area. It's further out from Funchal but there's a bus stop just outside that goes straight to the city centre (takes about 20mins) and the bus ride itself has fantastic views. We picked up our rental car after a day or two and had no problems driving back and parking at the property. Our host was fantastic and helped reunite me with my dress after I left it behind in the wardrobe!

The host is super kind and generous - he gave us excellent tips on what to do in the region and where to eat (both restaurant recommendations were epic!), welcomed us in person although we arrived around midnight, had a friendly chat with us and gave us fruit and vegetables from his garden. The location of the property was perfect for our needs (relatively close to the airport and some points of interest), there’s a miradouro perfect to watch the sunset 5min away from the property. Sunrise is seen from the balcony - amazing! The property itself has everything one may need for a comfortable stay, including washing and cooking facilities, a coffee machine, etc.

Everything was incredibly clean! The house had everything one could need and even more, fornire is super comfortable, there’s a washing machine dishwasher oven microwave and all the possible imaginable things one could find in a house.

Spacious, modern, beautiful appartment on the top floor with a terrace and gorgeous view of the ocean and the distant Deserted Islands. Situated in an elegant neighbourhood only 2 minutes from the motorway exit, making it an ideal base to explore the whole island by car. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen and the bathroom well equipped. The owner doesn't speak any English but welcomed us in a very friendly manner. Communication with the responsible lady was seamless in English via Booking.com chat before our stay, and she was very helpful and flexible regarding our special requests. This was our best holiday home ever, we will definitely stay here again if we return to Madeira.
