Situated in Almodôvar, Monte Clérigo Casas de Campo offers a pool with a view. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. This is an excellent retreat. What can be better than half a dozen self contained bungalow pods in a rural setting. I only wish we were staying longer than one night. Our pod, and I believe they may all be the same, had 2 bedrooms, shower room and open plan kitchen, dining and lounge opening on to private decking and short walk to pool. As only a year old everything is new and fresh. We had an added bonus that the owners were celebrating their first year in business and invited all to a party of friends and family to celebrate. A very special evening.

Located within 8 km of Roman City of Ammaia and 10 km of Portalegre Castle, Casa do Vale features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Marvão. Located in a beautiful country side, surrounded by nature is great location to hike or bike. It is close to Castelo de Marvao, Castelo da Vide, Menhir de Meade and other lovely medioeval towns, is a place to relax or work with creative projects. I could stay longer if I had have the time, this place is in my list for my next trip to Portugal.

Located within 42 km of Roman City of Ammaia and 43 km of Marvao Castle, Chão da Velha - Casas de Campo provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Nisa. Set in a small village with only 10 inhabitants, tranquility and nature, this is the place to disconnect and reconnect. Carolina and Francisco are the perfect hosts; always friendly, available and helpful.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Casa do Lado is situated in Vila Nova de Milfontes, 1.2 km from Lighthouse Beach and 700 metres from Sao Clemente Fort. An amazing place smack in the middle of everything. Walkable to the beach and town. The owners' attention to detail and the experience you have is magical: recommendations for restaurants, beaches, hand picked wines, breakfast and dinner to die for. This is the place I would always come back to. One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. Thank you!

Located in Melides in the Alentejo region, Farm Wood House is a country house featuring a terrace and sea views. Guests staying at this country house have access to a balcony. Stayed in the Casa Verde Bangalo. Liked the privacy, the view, the room, the jacuzzi, breakfast, complimentary wine, beach towels, board games.

O Monte das Flores is located within a 10-minute drive from the Vila Nova de Milfontes centre. Malhão Beach is 3 km away from the property. 2nd time here. And we'll be back 🙂

Offering a garden and pool view, Vales do Alentejo is located in Bicos, 28 km from Sao Clemente Fort and 30 km from Pessegueiro Island. Delightful in every aspect. The houses, the friendly staff, the excellent breakfast, the swimming pool, and the quiet surroundings of the location in deep Alentejo. This place presents high quality standards at a pretty reasonable price. A small property of 6 terraced houses, all with a spacious bedroom and living room with kitchen. Very well equiped and nicely decorated. The breakfast is excellent with warm bread, croissant, and cakes just out of the woven. The swimming pool and the view of surroundings is super pleasant. Very good for family with kids, the baby crib was very good quality and the sofa bed for the child also good and spacious. The location is quiet, though the walls between houses are pretty thin and not sound-proof. The drive to nearest town (Cercal) is 10min, there are good restaurants there. And the drive to seaside is 20-30 min but there are many wonderful beaches to explore in this part of Alentejo so this is a great base :)

Featuring garden views, Casa da Paleta provides accommodation with patio, around 6.7 km from Roman City of Ammaia. With mountain views, this accommodation features a balcony and a swimming pool. The host went above and beyond to insure that we were extremely happy with the choice of room. We went to celebrate a birthday and she went the extra mile to make it special for him. I was overwhelmed with the beauty of the room, the house and property. Helena is an artist with exquisite taste and you can see that reflected in everything she does. She is kind, warm and generous. The breakfast feast is amazing. So many choices even for us vegetarians. The shower was lovely, incredibly hot. The bed was so comfortable and extra large, the biggest bed I've ever seen. Our dogs were kindly welcomed and they enjoyed their vacation. The views on the property will take your breath away. We will definitely be back soon!

Este alojamento fica a 6 minutos a pé da praia. Localizado a 8 minutos a pé da praia fluvial, a Casa da Torre dispõe de acomodações na aldeia Mina de São Domingos, a 18 km do Parque Natural do Vale do... Our host, Bruno, was very friendly and accommodating and entertaining. For those who do not speak Portuguese, he speaks English quite well. While we did not meet Isabelle, her presence is felt throughout this beautifully restored old building which she personally re-designed and furnished. Our bed was very comfortable (and this is an important criteria for us with bad backs). It's an intimate accommodation with just 6 rooms, more like a BNB than a hotel, though breakfast is purchased for an additional reasonable cost. The rooms and bathrooms are large and the furnishings and fixtures are modern. There is a comfortable common area living room that is nicely decorated. The town has an interesting history, being a former mining town, though there isn't much to explore and not many dining options in town. If you're able bodied, you should ask Bruno to take you to the top of the old tower through the small "secret" door and spiral staircase... that was fun!
