A modern building with rustic charm. We had the entire place to ourselves. Large breakfast room, common room and pool area. 2 fireplaces for cold days but it was 29 degrees during our visit so the AC was more important. Beautiful night sky and a rooster in the morning! Nice breakfast prepared by the housekeeper.

Cerdeira - Home for Creativity houses an arts and crafts school, is hidden in Serra da Lousã and offers traditional units built in schist surrounded by an undulating landscape. What a truly special place and so well run. A wonderful location amd vision, warm service, great food, and very unique and comfortable charming accomodation. Great walking trails to other schist villages.

Quinta da Alma Cheia is an early 20th century property that includes orchards, vineyards and meadows This typical Beira Baixa estate has 4 granite houses with an open space architecture, spread across... Wow what a place to stay! This property was exceptional in every way, the apartment, the surroundings, the owners, the breakfast, and don’t forget the dogs! We didn’t want to leave!!
