Absolutely amazing sunrise views from bedroom, looking down on Rhino park. Lovely to be out of Johannesburg - the area Cradle of Humankind is great. Owners made me feel like family. Highly recommend horse ride. Will be back!

Beautiful room. Beautiful surroundings; it was private & felt like a far-away bush experience despite it being close to home.
The staff were absolutely incredible! From the receptionists to the restaurant staff; special mention to Nathaniel (Nate) who was our waiter on 2 occasions - the loveliest gentleman who provided the best service with a constant smile.

As for breakfast, it was truly exceptional, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The only minor downside was the absence of full cream yogurt, but it wasn't a significant issue for me as I still thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Unfortunately we only spent 1 night here as we booked in for a nearby wedding that we were attanding.
Very friendly host and magnificent views over the valley below.

Booking.com. The placce is named Alto Log Cabin, not Madeteleli. Confirm it with the owners, When I spoke to the owners they had never heard of Madeteleli.
But Alto Log Cabin’s first impression was clean and a looked after cabin. It was very nice.
