Was a transit stop for an early morning flight. It was fairly late in the even and we still found places that served good tasty food. The pods were easy to find. I would suggest booking beforehand rather than showing up and hoping there is space.

It's just cheap hotels surroundings the airport.
It's just cheap hotels surroundings the airport. Nothing to do or see as far as I can tell but I was only there for a stopover. Hanoi is a brilliant city and I love and recommend it but the area around the airport isn't much. Like anywhere, it's just set up for the airport which makes sense. Maybe there's more to see and do in a slightly bigger radius of the area, I didn't go far.

Excellent value for money and the hotel very efficiently picked us up from the domestic terminal and later dropped us back to the international one in a plush, large vehicle (about £4 each way, 8 mins approx.). We were able to wash, change and sort ourselves out ahead of a long overnight flight - rooms clean with aircon, water, kettle, coffee provided. Options for food within a few minutes. Recommended over a pricey airport lounge and lovely owners/ staff
