The Pink Palm Hotel - Adults Only, hotel in Charlotte Amalie

Located in Charlotte Amalie, 1.8 miles from Morningstar Beach, The Pink Palm Hotel - Adults Only has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

The property is so inviting with many levels, nooks, and crannies to enjoy, even on a rainy evening. Our room which was upgraded was lovely and had a wonderful view of the harbor. We had a nice early morning walk in the town and soaked in the hot tub. Breakfast was a generous and stylishly presented continental breakfast. Hot coffee, warm doughnuts, fresh fruit and yogurt were delivered to the room in a darling picnic basket. We were offered a yoga class near the pool in view of the harbor and were so glad we accepted the invitation. Relaxing and stretching in the morning sun guide by a great instructor was such a nice way to begin our vacation.

The Cottage at Villa Indigo offers accommodations in Charlotte Amalie, 1.6 miles from Charlotte Amalie Harbor.

It was a very nice quiet residential neighborhood on the mountain overlooking Charlotte Amalie. I liked that we had a private casita. Having a harbor view was also a nice bonus. Being able to walk to the local bar/restaurant was a plus as driving was unnerving for us.

The hotel was close to the cruise port.

The hotel was close to the cruise port. It was a bueatiful backdrop. I was there for a short period, I just wanted to go somewhere different and I accomplished my goal. I was there by myself and felt safe. I caught several taxis, when to call a taxis, your taxis has people going other people going in the direction you are, and it’s per person. They’re not a lot of places to park. The streets are very busy.

I love Charlotte Amalie I was born and raised here.

I love Charlotte Amalie I was born and raised here. I relocated to the states years ago. My last visit was in 2018, and some of my family members still reside here. I also stayed in Estate Solberg and the driving was nerve-wrecking up and down those steep small hills. Overall, I enjoyed my stay with family and the food.

The hotel seems like it was once really nice, but it seems dated now. We had to change rooms when we checked in, the floor was stained and the air conditioner was not working. We had to request room service daily, we will not stay here again.

The town is crawling with tourists when the cruise ships are in and much of the shopping has moved to a couple wharf-side shopping malls. There were some nice restaurants. We preferred St. John and St. Croix

    Cajun style seafood was excellent!

Cajun style seafood was excellent! Escargots was a real treat as an appetizer. Had the shrimp and craw fish in bed of rice Seasoned creole style was not too hot and not too mild! Ambiance was appropriate for menu style.

My opinion is you should not travel to the Virgin Islands...

My opinion is you should not travel to the Virgin Islands until they relax the rules on covid. At night, most of the bars, clubs, and restaurants are closed and the ones that are open, they close early. Basically I was walking around looking for something to do. If you're there to just go to the beach, that's fine but the nightlife there is a ghost town now during covid. Also you do not want to go shopping either. They are so desperate to get sales that everybody bombards you with trying to sell you something. Also a tip about buying alcohol, buy the alcohol at Kmart. That's the cheapest place to buy alcohol. Also if this is your first visit to St Thomas, be prepared because the customer service is not the greatest. A lot of the sellers are not very nice and I'm being kind. I'm not saying everyone but a lot have bad attitudes. I'm part St Thomian and I tell you this from experience.

Great little hotel on Blackbeard’s Hill overlooking Charlotte Amalie. Location is fantastic- follow the historic 99 Steps right into town amd back. Be sure to take a taxi there with your luggage though!! That’s a lot of steps. Room was spotless clean and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Perfect for a night or a few before or after arriving on STT.

The staff was very hospitable and attentive. The location is ideal for any directions you would like to travel by public or private transportation. Midtown hotel has a quaint feel which make it feel safe and cozy. The island lost power while i was there, however, Midtown had a generator that kept us comfortable the entire evening and morning.

The staff were super efficient and helpful. The location near the famous 99 steps is only 131 steps from the Main Street (I counted them). They have a decent swimming pool. I thought the hotel was far better than the booking.com pictures and description, they did not do it justice.

This place is a gem! It is very close to Blackbeard's castle. It is a short walk to downtown Charlotte Amalie so if you don't mind walking, you don't really need a car. The place has everything you need and decent space. Great for a couples getaway!

Nice big room, small kitchennette (which I didn't use, but was a bonus to have available), Excellent AC, porch with a great Charlotte Amalie city view. Poolside food looked great (I didn't have it, but saw a pizza that another guest had purchased).

Room has a great view. I Iiked that it wasn’t like a hotel where housekeeping comes in every day to clean, this way we could just sit in the room and relax knowing we weren’t ever going to be bothered. The food at the bar was also really good.

A really quirky hotel built on several levels overlooking the city. The rooms are a bit dated, but the balcony views were incredible. Breakfast on the breezy patio was really nice. Really close to the merchant area of town.
