We were charged twice and want a refund. First, booking.com did not send email promptly. The girl at desk wouldn't wait for the confirmation. We had just drove 8 hours.
Please refund or give us a free night.

loved the layout and was able to walk everywhere I wanted to visit and loved the historical sites and locations since I am a history buff and liked the museums I have visited as well and the large Spanish stone fort I enjoyed very much as well. I would come and visit St. Augustine again and often in the future.

St. Augustine is beautiful.
St. Augustine is beautiful. Walking over The Bridge of Lions was something I had wanted to do. I finally did! I felt safe in the historic area. Good array of shops and restaurants. I can’t wait to go back.

Many of the sites were in or adjacent to the old city which made it convenient to do several things. We took a ghost tour and learned about the history of the city. My daughter and I enjoyed the shops on St. George while my husband toured the fort. He said it was very interesting. We ate at Mojo’s barbecue which was very good and finished our trip visiting the lighthouse. Loved it! I would like to take another trip to St. Augustine to see more of the city.

So many things to see have to come back.
So many things to see have to come back. A lot of places were not disabled person friendly. I would of like to see more, but as a disabled person. I was disappointed for me and my family. Iver all need about a week or more.

We loved St Augustine!
We loved St Augustine! From the history of the City to the beaches on the coastline. Our favorite times were on a romantic Sunset cruise and the awe inspiring church tour. One must eat at DJ's Clam Shack! Great seafood! St George St is must with its little shops, museums and eateries. Wear comfortable shoes when you go because parking is limited but you'll find its worth the walk!

St Agustine is a great vacation spot.
St Agustine is a great vacation spot. Dinners were more expensive then expected. traffic was heavy, but St Agustine was a fabulous place to visit and good place to take the kids. all the attractions even though you have to pay for them, have allott of interesting history.
This hotel was the best I'm so glad we stayed here this hotel is clean I mean very clean and the cleaning crew is exceptional ! The front desk staff is the friendliest and helpful a big shout out to Derek who always had a big hello and a smile everytime we came back to the hotel after exploring St Augustine , what surprised us the most is the actual owner helping out with breakfast every day this isn't seen in other hotels. This hotel is a gem near Villano Beach if you want a hotel that treats you like family this place is a must 👌
Right on the sand, every room has a beach view. Lots of happy dogs and people! Excellent staff and help, including a shuttle to downtown. It's an older property, but the rooms are very big and well-maintained, with a small kitchen, excellent bed (right by the big windows looking out on the beach) and yes, again, SUPER helpful, friendly staff. Is it luxury? No, but it is far and above the quality and staffing of most "beach" hotels.
Marcia met us on check in, and then served us breakfast...at an outside table!!…the following morning. A wonderful person, and a superb breakfast. The location couldn't be better...right in the historic district, and the parking was a 2 minute walk away. Loved everything abut this place. My wife Diane and I , driving back to Miami, said " the best place we have EVER stayed in St Augustine...lets plan our next visit !!! Cheers Alan
We did not have breakfast but the beds were very comfortable and the renovations inside were really nice! Friendly staff and we would stay again. Just a suggestion, if perhaps this hotel had a taxi service to get us more downtown in St. Augustine that would be awesome. Uber and Lyft rides were very hard to come by but then again, we were there for a festival.
The location was excellent. The staff was super friendly. The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate and the bonus complimentary drinks at their Tini Martini Bar were delicious! The free parking about a block and a half away was a rare and very welcome perk in the historic district of St. Augustine.
I booked a room at the Smart Stay Inn in Saint Augustine Florida, although it wasn't a bad place to stay the reviews were untrue. One review said it was right at the Beach which is completely false. The downtown Saint Augustine was at least 20 minutes away and not close to any sites we wanted to visit.
An outstanding historic hotel, perfectly located in the heart of St. Augustine. Staff are friendly, courteous, and eager to assist, while the room was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Breakfast in the morning was superb, with a good choice of dishes and top-quality food.
The location: in the beautiful historic district and a short walk to St George street, hop on/off tram stopand all the wonderful attractions in St Augustine’s historic area.
Our hosts were amazing.
Beautiful house and loved the old world decor.
The room was clean. The location was so close to the historic downtown. It is a quick 5-10 minute walk across the Lions Bridge to St George Street! It isn't a luxury hotel, but the room was clean, safe, in a good location, and had a big TV!
The staff was great, and the location was close to everything we needed. A great home base for exploring St. Augustine at a better price than most hotels in the area. Getting to the St. Augustine historic district is also quick.
The location was great for the Old Town Trolley and walking to the historic district of St. Augustine.
The room was filled with everything you needed.
Breakfast was filling and had lots of choices.
It was a perfect location to stroll the Historic District and free parking was a bonus. The breakfast was very nice and filling. The Inn Keepers were very professional and personable.
