A pretty property with nice views to the mountains from our top floor. Breakfast choices were sufficient and the location was pleasing and clean. We were able to walk to the train station along a quiet back soi and over a walking bridge over the tracks. Although it is not in the business centre we were easily able to walk to the main road in 10 minutes where there are many restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed exploring the small neighbourhood around the hotel.

This is the definition of a hidden gem. The pictures don't do the place any justice because it's gorgeous and full of treasures that are just too special to capture. Not only is the location and interior of the accommodation amazing, the staff is exceptionally kind, facilitating and helpful. Never in my life have I experienced this level of service that goes beyond the idea of good customer service.

Nice city, not too big but with some nice restaurants and bars to go to in the evening. It is a bit stretched out, so a car can be convenient. Close to Khao Yai national park, so a good place to organize your trips from.

Pak Chong is not too popular among foreign tourists.

Pak Chong is not too popular among foreign tourists. This is a vacation place mostly for Thai people around 3 hours from Bangkok. Getting there is easy taking the minibus and cost around 160thb. It is a nice place to enjoy a few days and it has a enormous waterpark/amusement park, exotic zoo, temples etc in a short driving distance. I reccomend renting a scooter to get around since it is cheap and it fast, especcaly in the most trafficated hours. Make sure to bring international driving lisence if renting a vehicle, or else you will be fined 500thb if stopped by the police. Helmet is also a must have for both driver and passenger, or else you will be fined for not wearing one also. There is enough dining places around (a lot of hot-pot around), but the best is the streetfood rolling out at 9-10pm and lasts for the late hours (and also cheap). I really reccomend Pak Chong for a few days and we will definately go back there the next time.

Night was good for food and many stall but the morning market better as shop open good stufs to buy. The hostel beside noodles shop was the best had ever eaten in Thailand. Fish ball noodle was fresh and delicious.. A stall wanton Noodles down the road was delicious too. The place was quite easy to excess by bus to korat, mini van to Bangkok returned for bus too except only not many can speak English.

Pak Chong is a very laid back town.

Pak Chong is a very laid back town. You can stay here if you are planning to go to the night market or visiting Khao Yai. I think the best time to go here is in November, December & January. Its not so hot and the flowers are blooming during that time.

Wonderful stay in Pak Chong. The owner as well as the whole team are extremely friendly and helpful. They organize tours in the national park and offer scooter rental. Also tips about excursions are gladly given. In addition, the breakfast is super tasty. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The accommodation is next to the river in a beautiful nature. You can relax there and enjoy the calm. Although it is close to the river we had no mosquitoes or insects which is perfect.

the hostel is no frills, as the price reflects, but it is clean and everything you need including all the littlest water you can drink is provided. breakfast was ready at time that worked for me. the owner was amazing at putting together a Khoi Yai National park tour I will never forget! lots of animals, beautiful scenery, and great food throughout the day. his local knowledge added a whole other dimension to my stay that you just don’t find in bigger hotel properties/tours.

What a great homestay idea. You stay in the small houses behind the main home and directly over the river.......like mini hotel rooms The family runs this resort and has an honour bar system on the deck overlooking the river breakfast is great and cooked on site Thank you to the sisters for a great stay and dad for the guitar singalong. across from the resort ,over the swing bridge is one of the most amazing restaurants you will ever see.

I like the location, ambiance, and comfort 😊. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom size was beyond our expectation for a hostel. The place is not too far from Pak Chong Railway Station. It is also near the night market. There is a walking distance (about 7 mins) 7-11 if you need some stuff. However, please be informed that the area is not actually pedestrian friendly because it is near the national road.

We spent a week here and we must say that everything was excellent! Clean and comfortable room even it has limited room space. Convenient for those who have a car, where you can park right next to your room. Love the provided bicycle, so we can enjoy riding around the resort :) Overall, we were happy with our stay here and will definitely book this resort again on our next stay in Pak Chong.

We could change rooms! After that: The bed was clean. The bathroom was better that the previous. Nice balcony! A fridge, water kettle and tea. 12 min drive to the Khao Yai National Park. Kind of the owner to drop oof & pick up from the National Park 🙏 There are a lot of beautiful places in the neighborhood - you just need a car or scooter of your own.

Wow! This room was probably the nicest we've stayed in in Thailand. The bed was extremely comfortable and the AC was brilliant. Wifi was great. It was so lovely to have a bath and a TV too. It felt like a luxury hotel room. Incredibly good value for money!

The host is at just another level compared to the average in Thailand. She is amazing. I got better info about my 2 days Khao yai trip from her than from all the rangers I 've talked to. Countless other reasons and ways she helped me.
