The Gorge is very beautiful and there are many hiking and walking trail around. The museum of Tolmin is really interesting. I'd recommend going there with nice weather, there is little to be done when it is raining.

Tomlinson was a great stop on our hiking adventure.
Tomlinson was a great stop on our hiking adventure. The gorge and castle ruins were good to see and with it being a bigger town then we had been in on our travels we were able to restock our hiking supplies.

Great base for getting out to other hiking areas waterfalls and canyons. The Town centre is dated and quite dirty. Only a few restaurants all with the same items on the menu, but all good quality and very low prices.

Tolmin is heaven on earth.
Tolmin is heaven on earth. Especially in the festival season in the town. The rivers Tolminka and Soca meet, and it's the perfect cooling down in the hot hot heat (it was 32 degrees Celsius). The surrounding area is Slovene Alps at its best with countless activities from biking, paragliding, mountain climbing and canyoning. It has one of the best festivals in Slovenia every summer, and it's a must visit.

Nice quiet place, not many tourists.
Nice quiet place, not many tourists. Beautiful gorge to walk which again was not busy. It’s a quaint little town with few restaurants and ideal for those looking for outdoor activities off the beaten track.
Also if you choose to do the boat tour (which requires a short drive) best deal is to have lunch on it. It’s 14 euro for 2/3 courses including 2.5 hour boat ride. Otherwise you pay for 1 hour boat ride with no food for 8 euro.

Cute little town with breathtaking surroundings, very tourist-friendly, perfect for active holidays. Having a car helps a lot, makes the whole region very accessible, but train is a second best option as well. Restaurant Labrca at the river bank is a must. Excellent food, friendly staff.
The Apartment was excelent - clean; quiet; well-equipped kitchen, only oven and microwave missing, but it was sufficient for us; good air conditioning, there was also hair dryer etc.
Good parking place in front of the apartment.
The Owners were really nice and friendly. They gave us a lot of tips for trips and provided a lot of brochures with interesting places in Slovenia (including maps).
We were really satisfied with accommodation.
The Apartment (Molly) was more then superb. Everything is new, modern, cozy and super clean (one of the cleanest I've seen). Has all anmeties and free parking. The view from the balcony was amazing. The host was very lovely and helpful. Location of the apartment is perfect to explore the region around Tolmin ans Soča. The place is 5 min drive from town center Tolmin. I recommend it for everyone staying in the Soča area. 10/10 :)
Vladimir was super friendly and even offered me a welcome drink of local liquor when I arrived. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had everything I needed and more! A hot water kettle for morning tea/coffee, mini fridge, and plates with cutlery were an added bonus. The location come with parking and is right off of a walking path that will take you to the Tolmin gorge - no extra parking fees!
The room was very spacious and clean and David answers questions very quickly. Although the bathroom was shared with another apartment, it remained quite clean throughout my stay. There's a bakery right around the corner.
The location is great as it is quite close to the bus station, a 30 minute walk to the Tolmin Gorge and a great starting point to explore other places such as Kobadir and Bovec.
Everything. Valentina was the most gracious host I've have ever encountered, and I've encountered many. She made us feel warm and welcome, as if we had been friends for years. The apartment was comfortable and well-decorated, with all of the amenities one could want. The view of Tolmin was unexpectedly beautiful, which made the experience even more delightful.
Beautiful location and view from the house! The owners were super helpfull and nice, even gave us a ride to the center on the day we left. The house was very well maintained, clean and we have nothing but positive to say!
If you are visiting Tolmin area I highly recommend staying here for your visit! Definitely will stay here again when in Tolmin!
Just a perfect stay near the beautiful Tolmin area.
Our host was very warm and friendly and our communication was really great.
The apartment is so confortable, clean and well equipped and the big balcony offers a breathtaking view on the surrondings and nice sunsets.
We really enjoyed our stay in this so cozy property
Perfectly tranquil setting on the Tolminka River. Very convenient to Tolmin town, hiking/biking trails, and the Tolmin Gorges. Large apartment and well set up - comfortable bed, everything worked, lots of good kitchen equipment. Self check-in was convenient. We will return!
Easily my best experience in a hostel. Katja is an exceptional host and even offered me a ride 5:50 in the morning to make sure that I catch my train. Met a few great friends to attend the festival together. Will definitely be back next year!
The house is beautiful, Matej is a great host and very helpful with finding hidden gems in the area. Sela pri Volčah is located perfectly for either visiting Tolmin or Kobarid to the north or Kanal & Nova Gorica in the south.
Absolutely beautiful location in the middle of the Slovenian mountains. The place was spotless as we arrived, the owner clearly prides herself on this! The communication with her was quick, easy and stress free.
Beautiful apartment in the heart of Tolmin.
The hotel was extremely clean and the air conditioning was working fine (it was summer and Tolmin was hot!).
I really liked the apartment. The host was really nice.
The location is SPECTACULAR, the hostess is very friendly and has great advice on how to best benefit from time spent near Tolmin. The road leading to Vista is indeed narrow but not problematic.
Great place to explore Soca valley. Owner is very friendly and helpful. On-site restaurant available with local food.
The entrance for Tolminka gorge is just a few minutes walk away.
The location is good, close to the bus station and a few minutes from the Tolmin center and maybe 20 minutes from the festival area next to the Soca river.
