Fantastic unit that was extremely functional and very cute beach vibes. Very convenient to the highway and the beach, but you don’t hear road noise. Excellent home, super value, very well set up. The kitchen had everything we needed, nice sharp knives. High quality shampoo and conditioner. We would recommend 10/10!

Great place to step away from the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature a bit. Good food at the waipu cove pub, if a little pricey (the food is quite gourmet and the drink options were many)

A quite Town for a night or two night stay for a short weekend. Kids friendly pizza store and the waipu cave not too far but would recommend to have gumboots and Torch when visit with young kids. New Years day markets & night Ceilidh (Scottish dance). Busy rural town. Lots happening. Great art gallery in the old firestation. Nice cafes. Shops all open on the weekend. Close to Whangarei & Langs/Waipu Cove etc. Waipu has it's own museum - worth a look. Free parking in the town. Seems to be very dog friendly.

Lovely area, beautiful beach, plenty of coastal walks and bush walks in the area, close to other lovely beaches, Langs Beach, Mangawhai Heads. Loved the choice of beaches Waipu Cove, Lang’s and Mangawhai. Waipu Cove didn’t have much choice for eateries and the pub filled to capacity so I couldn’t eat there and this wasn’t very good considering it was only 6pm!JulesNew Zealand

The 1 bedroom (cosy) unit we stayed in had a nice little outdoor patio / garden to sit in although we were next to the road which, being holiday season, was rather busy. The units were nice and clean too. Right on the lifeguard patrolled beach and just a few minutes from Waipu
