The location was great, a 5 minute walk from train station and close to Torp airport. Sandefyord town looked beautiful in the snow but we didn't get much chance to explore. Room was big enough, but hotter than I like. Everywhere looked very clean.

Sandefjord is very much a working, functional port town with good marina facilities for leisure boaters. There are plenty of options to dine out and have a stroll around the harbour/port area, but it is not really big on tourism as such, which is probably not a bad thing. If you are driving, the links to the major routes are easy to follow, and of course you have the ferry port for travelling over to Sweden.

We went out of season with limited activities---a month or two earlier and i'm sure our thoughts would be different. So expensive to live not just in Sandefjord but in Norway. Same price as Oslo---thought it would be better value.
Extremely spacious with everything you need to cook and clean, etc. We had an amazing time here. It is a lovely, quiet and clean village.
It was about a half hour walk to the port and all the shops. There is also a lovely park down there too with lots of interesting things.
There is a supermarket around the corner from the house, which is open every day.
We personally found it a little strange to have so many of the owners' personal belongings around but it didn't spoil anything. It was just different but also interesting.
Everything was perfect! The staff was super nice and helpful. We had more than 6 extra hours in Sandefjord after check-out until our flight. The staff suggested that we can spend time at the lounge with coffee and tea which is free of charge. We were surprised that not only breakfast but also evening meal is included. It was such a nice touch. The atmosphere of the hotel was really amazing. The room was simple but very clean and had everything we could ask!
The owner very nice, friendly. It was no problem to get to the apartment. The keys to the apartment were waiting for us in the agreed place. The apartment was spacious, has a fully equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom. Location - intimate housing estate, peace and quiet, a bit far from the railway station. For non-motorized people, it is worth choosing the option of getting there by scooter or asking the owner about the possibility of renting a bike :))
Our host was very friendly, ready to help and communication was quick and simple.
Room was very tidy, bed extremly comfortable and bathroom, eventhough shared, very clean and spatious.
There’s pick up/drop off possibility from/to Torp airport, included in the price - that proved very convenient for us.
We will definitely come back since this was one of our nicest Booking experiences 😁
Had a lovely 3 night stay at mikael’s place. It was in a peaceful spot but within walking distance from the town. We enjoyed the garden, and used the spa once. Mikael is a lovely host, very welcoming and ensured excellent communication. We would happily stay here again.

Very nice and "grande" hotel. Great location. Very nice rooms and comfortable bed. The breakfast was also fantastic. We sat outside and the servers actually came around and refilled coffee cups for the guests. We thought that was a nice touch.
Klara exceeded all of my expectations, and Asle is one of the most kind, genuine hosts I have ever met. The entire experience was wonderful, from start to finish. Asle has created a welcoming space that radiates community and love.
It was a perfect space to dry our wet motor gear, as we'd been riding in the rain for a few days. There was a drying rack and electric heaters. The apartment was simple but comfy and the beds were good.
Cheapest room in a really nice hotel, so the room could be updated but I'm not complaining. The A/C was not working in one of our rooms, but they had two fans in there, so we were okay.
Best thing was Host...Mrs Siri Anderson..
Polite ,Informative & helpful....if I ever get a chance to come back to Norway in holidays ..this place would be my first priority...
The apartment is clean and modern. The bed is very soft. The washer and dryer are a great feature, and the shower is large for Europe. It is a 16 minute drive to the airport.
Exeptional and classy atmosphere, wonderful hotel. If you are exploring Norway for the first time and want to feel real norwegian spirit, you must stay in this hotel!
