The room was veryy clean and spacious. It had all facilities you would need for a stay. Staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff were wonderful and extremely helpful. They were always so lovely and helpful and the staff on duty helped us contact our bank when are phones were not working which would have caused us a lot of trouble if we had not been able to do that. We were extremely grateful for the assistance of the manager on duty that day.

Clean and fresh rooms. Good for spending a night along the road. Located right beside the main road (E6) that goes from south to north all through Norway. It is only a few minutes drive from Oppdal, the nearest town. Nearby you can go skiing, cycling, mountain hiking etc. Friendly staff and great food in the restaurant.

Oppdal has many options for hiking around during the summer...
Oppdal has many options for hiking around during the summer time, some of those are short distance from the center, some - you need to drive a little bit. It is also a gateway to moose safari (I saw one when walking in the area) and musk ox. Great views to valley from the top of nearby Mountains.

The place provides you with a lot more then you would inspect. There are several stores to get or update equipment for hiking / camping. You find Galleries with great work, there are all kind of options for food in town. If you want to go out there are multiple bars and places for a drink. Nice place, will for sure come back. P.S If you are also a photographer, bring your gear there is no place to buy photo equipment or even SD cards. The local Elkjop is missing it they dont provide any photo equipment.KaiNorway

When we arrived, the staff advised us where we could have dinner and also where we could go for a walk. The room was pretty big and had a patio where you could sit out in good weather (unfortunately, not our case). We also had a small kitchen and all the dishes/cutlery. For our party of 3 we had a whole house with 2 double rooms and one bathroom, which is completely modern. The breakfast buffet (served from 8:30) offered a large, high-quality selection. As we had asked in the booking they had even organized some vegan alternatives.

Oppdal is only 25mins away from Kongsvol train station where you can hike to the DNT hut Reinheim or search around for Musk Ox to photograph. Friendly owner and the cabins are super comfortable and warm.
