The room decor was great and really spacious. Walking distance to the beach. The rooftop restaurant where you have breakfast and dinner has a beautiful view. The desserts from the dinner menu were delicious.

I had an excellent stay in Ocean Beauty, shared between moments of teleworking and vacation. The staff were attentive and really friendly, flexible and accommodating. We were very well received, simple check-in and check-out. Breakfast lived up to expectations. Both the room and the hotel were clean and faithful to the descriptions, value for money, which seems to me to be the main thing. Thank you again to everyone for these good times and we look forward to coming back.

Not the best part of the Island for a family holiday - if...
Not the best part of the Island for a family holiday - if you are looking for the best beach area head for the South West. Perebere is an excellent location for SCUBA Diving. Loads of Dive Centers and loads of nice Dive Sites. You definately need a hire car if you are going to base yourself here.

Pereybere is a great tourist area and has one of the nicest beaches but it tends to get crowded. Also what is unappealing are the stray dogs. I think Mauritius needs to find a solution for stray dogs. Lots of halal food options in the area and nearbyIshratSouth Africa - 10Scored 10
Overall Pereybere is an excellent place to stay.
Overall Pereybere is an excellent place to stay. We found the lush green trees and grass and the sandy beaches a wonderful place for walking strolling and even on the evening. It was just a cool warm air that was nice to walk. The local people were friendly and public transport you can get around Pereybere and enjoy the different restaurants with the different foods. It was lovely and amazing place to stay the apartment in which we stayed in was lovely and the beach being around the corner was an excellent choice that we made great place lovely food lovely people . Amazing! I would recommend that you try the seeing the dolphins and the buggy rides as well as visit in the other islands by boat.

Pereybere is great if you are a beach person but does not have enough restaurants & bars in terms of variety and some are really overpriced, for example WANG THAI restaurant - also very snobbish staff ... A quaint little place with limited amenities in close...
A quaint little place with limited amenities in close walking distance. Paddling and canoeing can be arranged at the public beach and several food trucks are available with a different selection of local foods. There are several diving centre agencies along the main road to chose from. We found a supermarket called ‘Winners’ approximately 250m from the public beach which was well stocked, with friendly and helpful staff. We popped in several times during our stay. Fresh baguettes and finely shaved ham were our favourite.

Ate out in restaurants most evenings but had takeaways now and again. At least some restaurants and bars in Pereybere and Grand Bay accepted AMEX and other cards. Property was right opposite Pereybere public beach and next door to a restaurant. The supermarket WINNERS was about a 5 minute walk away and we used it almost every day. It was very convenient for buses (stop opposite/nearby) in both directions and a taxi stand was just 2 minutes away.DanielYoung couple

The pool on the roof was a pleasure to use - and generally quiet. We were close to the beach and a lovely safe swimming area in the sea. There were a number of different type restaurants in close walking distance (Fish / Indian / Thai / Chinese) - - the Wang Thai is highly recommended. A tour operator was based in the hotel and gave good service.

Or if you prefer the public beach, it’s a 1min walk on the coast. The staff was very kind. The wifi was working fine. Good breakfast, delicious waffles made on the spot. Safe private parking. AMAZING GARDEN. I recommend the beachfront studio with garden view. I have attached a drone-made photo of the private beach.

Beach access was across the road from the hotel. Small pool area but OK to chill out. All staff we encountered from reception, waiting to housekeeping were polite and helpful.
