The bed was extremely comfortable, and the upgrade to a bigger room was quite nice. Very good shower and the room did not smell of cigarette at all which we appreciate. The added bonus of a bath tab as well made it even more special.

Macau is the true east meets west philosophy. Buddhist temples coexist with Baroque churches, peaceful oriental parks are overshadowed by mega-casinos and cobblestone streets are filled with rickshaws.
Hong Kong’s neighbour across the Pearl River strait consists of the mainland that borders the People's Republic of China and 2 major islands joined by the Cotai Strip. Coloane island is a natural wonderland with its mountains and beaches, whereas Taipa includes Macau International Airport and residential suburbs.
The prominent Macau Tower dominates the skyline of this former Portuguese colony and denotes the coming of age of modern-day Macau. It has set the stage for an economic boom with Vegas-style casinos lining the Macau Peninsula waterfront.
Historic sites and cuisine are important factors in this shining tourism star of China. St. Paul’s Cathedral was the largest Catholic church in Asia at the time with its ruins dating back to the 16th century. The fusion of Mediterranean flavours and traditional Chinese cooking methods makes eating out in the capital an unforgettable experience.
You are sure to find a hotel to fit your budget on Booking.com. There are 5-star beachside hotels, business accommodation and mid-range hotels for all types of travellers.
It was the second time I visit Macau. The first time was before Covid lockdown. I like the city and the old colonial buildings but the people were the same. Most of them can't speak English and unfriendly especially the 40+ yo people. If you need help, you should ask young people. Internet on your mobile and Google Maps is the must!

The city's historical districts are beautiful, with preserved Portuguese heritage. The landscapes are also very nice, with tall and shinny Casinos. The cuisine is an interesting mix of Asian with Portuguese influences. People are kind and welcoming.
However, I was deeply disappointed by how the Portuguese language is not used at all in hotels, restaurants and public offices, even being an official language. In fact, I had the feeling that it might be even downplayed in purpose which was particularly sad to observe.
Besides the historical centre, you will most find big casinos and shoppings malls. The old part of Macau is mainly walkable although to move between points of interest (airport, ferry terminals) it was better to use taxis. Credit cards are not widely accepted so it is better to have cash. MOP, RMB and HKD (1:1) are accepted.

I would recommend to stay at Taipa area, where all the newer casino themed hotels are located. I particularly enjoy viewing the Grand Canal Shoppes inside Venetian Macao. Take a day to sight see St. Paul cathedral ruins, Senado Square and drop by the historical A-Ma temple. Enjoyed overall the good Cantonese and Portuguese cuisines.

The locals you meet are generally a hit or miss - either extremely friendly and hospitable, or terribly fierce. But nevertheless, still a great place to visit and enjoy the cool weather. Definitely explore the Cotai strip and the various light shows/ performances - this can probably keep you entertained and occupied for a couple of days. Take another day for the historical areas and maybe even the older casinos.

In some aspects Macau is an expensive version of China, with some areas looking rather tired and in need of upkeep, but there are plenty of European restaurants and cultural explorations to make it worth at least one visit. The hotels in my opinion are a bit overrated/overpriced, but fun for one visit to see what all the fuss is about (I live in mainland China). The lower prices here make it a good shopping trip for a long weekend break combined with some sightseeing - the Portuguese influenced areas with their narrow winding streets are nice to visit with plenty of small shops and interesting historical links.

It was Christmas when we visited the Ruins of Saint Paul and there was an orchestra to celebrate the event. The place was crowded but we're happy with the experience of walking to the ruins with a lot of free taste on the way.
The bed is comfy, there are hard pillows and soft pillows in the room.
The room is bright, there are main light, bed light, desk light, and so many power sockets within the room. The bathroom also has hair dryer.
Hotel's location is in the shopping area so you can find convenience stores nearby easily,
The staffs were giving me much hospitality which I am very appreciated for that (Thank you young lady at front desk that day, sorry for unable to remember your name because I was so dead tired)
I booked a room at The Parisian Hotel for 2 nights, for my wedding anniversary, and all we can say is that we had a wonderful time!
Since the arrival to the check out, everything was perfect!
Sophie from the guest relation team, upgraded our room to a suite, did some special room decoration and offered us a cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Thank you Sophie for everything, a true 5 star customer service!
For the great experience we had, we truly recommend staying at The Parisian Hotel!
My family recently stayed at the hotel and the experience felt exclusive. The hotel is located directly in the heart of Macau being near many famous Macanese landmarks like the Senado Square and the Ruins of Saint Paul. There are also tons of great restaurants nearby. Also, we would like to thank receptionist Mr. Sam Leong for giving us an amazing room with a breath taking view.
The room was surprisingly clean and housekeeping was very helpful. Overall one of my best experiences.
Double room with a King bed is spacious and comfortable. It has a harbor view which is nice. Staffs at the Concierge are very helpful and patient (special mention to one of the young male staff name Charles) Hotel has its own casino. Best of all provide free shuttle buses to and from HKZM bridge terminal to the hotel and also from hotel to HK Airport !
Many eateries nearby, recommend an excellent Tim Sum restaurant called Mr. Gung just opposite the hotel.
We stayed in the Waterfront Suite. We enjoyed the stay and the hotel's color tone, design and standard. We especially admire the cleanliness level of the room and the quality of the service.. From the first step from the entrance, every staff was in a professional manner - polite, welcoming, friendly and helpful. This highlighted our entire trip in Macau to be relaxing, comfortable and safe. We will definitely come back in the near future!
I’m a private tour guide in Hong Kong. My wife has family in Macau and we have stayed in Macau many times. we chose this hotel for its vintage ambiance and the location, Barra. Barra is a lovely old area of Macau. this hotel is a short stroll away from the Mandarin House and Lilau Square. if you want old Macau, stay here. the view from the room was awesome. the decor of the room was classic Portuguese and the staff were excellent.
All the staff were very attentive & friendly. The hotel was in a great central location enabling easy access to the Cotai strip & not far by public transport to the old part of Macau & Coloane.
Sammy & his staff were amazing as nothing was too much trouble & they organised taxis for us when needed with ease. Our room was very large & comfortable with nice ammenities.
This is the fourth time for me to stay in Lisboa Palace Macau. This is a very fabulous, gorgeous, and comfortable hotel. Especially I love the breakfast buffet for there is a wide variety of food and the food and beverage are delicious and stylish too. I also love the whole enviroment of this hotel that make me feel enjoyable, comfortable and relexable.
The location was fantastic - a stone’s throw away from the oldest street in Macau (十月初五街) with lots of nostalgic and tasty eateries. It was really easy to get around the area, everything is within walking distance. There’s also a free shuttle that takes you directly from the hotel to the HZMB if you are visiting Hong Kong or Zhu Hai.
The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. The staff at the hotel were very helpful in providing directions on how to get around Macau to see the sights. Easy access to a vast number of shops including designer label outlets. Definitely a high end hotel at very affordable prices.
Everything looks great! Especially the staff they take time out to make sure they understand you and are able to help you with whatever you need. There is bus stop right outside the hotel so it's very convineant so everything is nearby.
Great hotel, with onsite swimming pool and gym, free shuttle bus between the Macau ferry terminal and the hotel. Hotel is very close to the Hong Kong Zhu Hai Macau port too, very convenient if you decided to take the bus.
Extremely clean room. We stayed in a 2BR suite . Really nice hotel, the staff are very accomodating. The service is fast. Beds are comfy, the toiletries, we love.
It was a great 4night stay with my adult children.
Good price considering the excellent location. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Clean and spacious room. Always our go-to hotel whenever we visit Macau. Friendly staff who helped us to arrange late check-out.
The hotel staffs are kind, courteous, enthusiastic and patient. The view is very good. The location is excellent. There is a bus station just across the road with multiple routes to many places of Macau.

Although not in the tourist area, it is within walking distance to CBD and many attractions. Good public transport in front of and within 100 m of the hotel.
