Rabat is the capital of Morocco. The streets and Medina of Rabat are much wider and cleaner. The Kasbah is not so clean but still a good place to visit. One night / 2 days in Rabat is good enough time to see everything around.

Rabat is interesting for a day.
Rabat is interesting for a day. The main sight is the Kasbah which is free to enter. You DO NOT need a guide and it IS NOT about to close, despite what all the touts try to tell you. Walking around the medina is interesting and safe.

Not a fan of Rabat, it was cleaner than the other cities we visited but there was not much to do other than the Medina and the tourist places to visit. I enjoyed Marrakech and Fez. If I go back to Morocco I would skip Rabat.

Is small city , specifically the medina is the best part, just like you are back in old time, the narrow street and people live their is the same as in Pakistan culture old city Lahore they have the same style of old houses, but Rabat is quite and small ,Lahore is 2 nhs largest city of Pakistan , population of nearly 170 million , they also preserved the old city just like medina in rabat

I would recommend Rabat. It is a very modern city.
I would recommend Rabat. It is a very modern city.
The city is extraordinarily clean and very safe.
Every person we met was kind, funny and charismatic.
The medina is the highlight and absolutely incredible.
Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum are great as well.
Walking along the "river" is recommended as well, as there are some restaurants to eat something sweet and enjoying the view.
Rabat isn't a typical capital. Rabat only has 500'000 inhabitants and it shows. Therefore, it's a rather quiet town, restaurants close early and there aren't too many.
I would recommend maximum a week, maybe less.
Taxis are very professional and can be used for transport. Cheap and without scammers.
If you are in Rabat, you have to visit Dar Naji. If you didn't eat there during your stay, you weren't in Rabat.

Beautiful city with a lot to see.
Beautiful city with a lot to see. I recommend taking a short walking tour- I booked a wonderful woman, Asmaa, through guru walks. She is a licensed guide and although I am not usually a fan of tours this was a few hours well spent- and no one else showed up so it was just me! Learned a lot and made a friend….
Riad Meftaha is located just outside the medina of Rabat. Very nice, clean, colorful, roomy riad. Friendly English-speaking staff. The riad offers an excellent breakfast with a variation of yummy breads, fresh homemade jams (strawberry, apricot, lemon, fig), various kinds of olives, eggs, cheeses, dates, figs, and lots of other stuff. We traveled through Morocco for 22 days, staying in 14 different riads and kasbahs. We both agreed that Riad Meftaha had the best breakfast of them all, including the freshest and best msemen!
Hôtel des Oudaïas is located on the edge of Rabat’s medina in probably the best possible location in Rabat. Although it was a little bit gloomy when we arrived, the view from the rooftop terrace of the hotel was absolutely stunning! (Last 7 pictures.) Nice, clean hotel. Large, nicely designed and decorated rooms. Fantastic location. Andalusian Gardens, Kasbah of the Udayas, Cimitero Al Shouhada, Rabat Beach, the Bou Regreg riverfront and the old medina are all in short walking distance.
Most comfortable hotel in Morocco! The staff was incredibly polite and the owner was there to help with anything you could possibly need, from booking the restaurant to sending one of the staff members to accompany me to the local shops. Absolutely amazing!
The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious with immaculate bathrooms! The interiors are well designed. Beautiful final touches made my stay a memorable experience. Highly recommended!
The room was absolutely beautiful, beds
Be was really comfy. They cleaned the room everyday. The staff was so kind and friendly. The decor was stunning. Breakfast was filling. This was the best stay I had in my month long trip through Morocco and the only time I slept well.
Was able to walk from the Rabat Ville station to the riad easily as well as anywhere else I wanted to go. Walked the alleys alone at night and felt safe.
Rabat was my first stop in Morocco. I stayed for one night and I wish I could stay for longer. This hostel reflected same what city has to offer to travelers. Beautiful architecture, lovely and friendly people and cleanliness. Breakfast is something you don't want to miss during stay. And it's just next to Rabat Old Market, so easy to walk anywhere.
Hotel Manager, Hafid, was very kind and helpful. He would always give us directions to places. Hafid printed off our boarding passes and went out of his way to make out stay comfortable.
The room was clean, air conditioned, with a flat screen tv and bottled water for your first night.
I plan to return to Rabat and Malak Hiotel soon.
Can’t fault this place. Great hostel, great facilities and great staff.
Without doubt the best breakfast I’ve had in Morocco. It’s a little bit outside the city centre, but I was aware of that when booking, so that’s not an issue.
What’s lost in location is made up for in breakfast.
I will be back. Mainly for the breakfast.
I have stayed at this hotel many times and always enjoy the experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the garden and facilities are wonderful too. It's nice having a tennis court in your backyard. The food, particularly the Harira soup is amazing at this hotel. Short drive to downtown Rabat makes it convenient.
What a memorable stay thanks to the dedicated and kind staff. I loved the 8-course breakfasts in a charming quiet area. the rooftop has a pool and is a great oasis on top of all the other shorter buildings. although there are many other hotels to choose from, I’ll be staying at this same place when I come back to Morocco!
This hotel in Rabat exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, with lovely decor. Its central location made exploring the city easy. The atmosphere was calm, and the staff, especially Zakaria and Siham, were exceptionally helpful and professional. Highly recommended for a memorable stay in Rabat
We’ve stayed in La Tour Hassan Palace couple of times and this trip was the first time staying in Rabat Morocco. We were not disappointed. The room was aesthetically appealing and welcoming. The lovely lady Dalal at the reception on check in was very polite and elegant. She made us feeling like home.
We liked everything about this hotel. In the modern part of Rabat. Close to restaurants and shopping. The medina is on the other side of town but it's not long drive. Breakfast was good but like all places in Morocco, the service at breakfast was slow.
Spa was nice. The kids loved the pool.
The landlord explained to me every information I wanted to know in English. Thanks to him! He was the first man I met in Rabat who could speak a language that I can understand! lol, the hotel was clean and comfortable, you can't find a better one at this price
Perfect place to stay in Rabat. We felt like home, and the staff was so friendly that I already miss them. This hotel is just perfect and to be honest I don't understand some of the negative reviews. 5 stars for sure!
I actually like everything in the hotel, super clean, comfortable, modern, and also friendly receptionists so it’s gonna take my highest rate in Rabat for sure and I’m gonna book it every time I visit Rabat.
Very well located and extremely well-maintained. This is a great hotel to stay at while visiting Rabat. The breakfast which was included was excellent.
