The location was great, only a minute from the station. There is a convenience store next door so it was easy to get a quick breakfast. There is a souvenir shop just outside as well that opens at 7:30.

Sasebo is literally the best place on earth. No joke or hyperbole. The people are warm, the nature is beautiful, the food is great, there are loads of things to do, and it's a calm peaceful haven in a world that usually isn't.

I live in Sasebo, been here for years, and I love it!
I live in Sasebo, been here for years, and I love it! It's a perfect balance between the city and the countryside, with everything you need, and all the wonderful sights to see, especially Huis Ten Bosch, one of Japan's biggest theme parks. If you want a break from the big city and want to experience a smaller but very beautiful and diverse place, head to Sasebo.

Sasebo is a small town, I was made to feel welcome in the local restaurants and bars I went to. The city is in a beautiful location on the south-west coast of Kyushu and there is lots to do. I will go back.

We visited Sasebo with our son who was stationed at the US Navy base 10 years ago. We enjoyed walking around the perimeter of the base and some areas he frequented. Spent only a day and a half in the city.

It took too long to get from Nagasaki airport to the hotel.
It took too long to get from Nagasaki airport to the hotel. The hotel's location in the city is ideal with shops and restaurants all around. It is a buzzing, bustling city. Wish i had more time to explore the beautiful parks.
We stayed in a four bed room which was spacious and clean with a huge bathroom. The view from the windows looked out over the bay which was gorgeous. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices and the dining room looks out over the bay with spectacular views. The hotel sits at the far end of the theme park and has courtesy buses to and from the main gate. Second time to stay here and the hotel seems to be a popular choice for many. It was great to see international staff working in reception too.
What I like about this hotel is its location and the room. The bus station where we dropped off is within the vicinity of this hotel. Their room bed is comfortable unlike other hotels we stayed around sasebo, their rooms are clean, amenities are great! On the top of that, I have requested some stuff like coffee and the staff are nice enough to respond to it. So, overall this hotel has been our choice and the place we’ve been staying whenever we travel for work.
Staff was lovely, especially the receptionist who checked me in (I wish I knew his name). Everyone was very efficient and never made me wait. I love the view from the room. Simply stunning. Also very convenient with the shops and the entrance to Huis Ten Bosch. I had a blast at the park and the hotel. Also the hotel has a private boat that takes to to the park!
Location of the property is located at Saikai if you want to travel in Sasebo. Visiting 99 islands is very convenient as hotel is just very close to cruise ship.
Free parking is good for driving travelers.
Size of room is ok for two people.
Site of Property is quite big and also have onsens in the hotel.
The breakfast buffet was superb and had probably 20-30 items to choose from plus eggs made to order and the Sasebo special lemon steak. The rooms are small but tidy, clean, and efficient. I travel to Sasebo frequently for work and plan to stay at Sunwest each time.
Was happy to be able to book a triple room. The room wasn't extremely big but had just enough space for 3 of us and our luggage. The room was clean. Location of hotel is good, near to park.
Breakfast was good.
Adjacent to the Huis Ten Bosch Park. Having better than average hotel BF , with many choices but certainly not close to 4-stars ; restaurant staff were kind and attentive.
Good security and easy car-parking.
The room is huge! We're a family of 4 and we had 1 bed each! There's an access gate directly to Huis Ten Bosch theme park from the hotel. The bathroom is also spacious.
This hotel is in a great central location. Rooms are tidy and clean. The breakfast was delicious and of course, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful!
