Jerash Hills Farm & Chalets, hotel in Jerash

Jerash Hills Farm & Chalets offers air-conditioned rooms in Jerash. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking.

Great location to be surrounded by greenery. The property is two separate houses one with two bedrooms each with their own bathroom and a big living room and another smaller casita by the pool and playground. We were three families and had plenty of space to spread out, bbq, swim and enjoy the view. King Talal dam is 15 minutes away for a hike and the animal sanctuary is 20 minutes if you are looking for a day trip in the area. Host was super responsive and helpful!

moon valley site jerash, hotel in Jerash

Moon valley site jerash enjoys a location in Jerash, 1.1 miles from Ruins of Jerash and 12 miles from Ajloun Castle. With garden views, this accommodation features a terrace.

Pleasantly surprised. The room was ready very fast after booking, nice, spacious, clean, fully equipped with everything even the washing powder. One of the best accommodation we had during our 2 week trip. Perfect :) The location is a bit far from the entrance (and exit) of ruins but there are several holes in the fence nearby the accommodation which we saw locals use to have a picnic on the grass so I guess it is okay to use it in order to leave the site close to the accommodation

Perfect for a day and night trip (like arrive in the early afternoon and leave the following late morning). In addition to the Roman city within Jerash there are other nice spots to the north (just south of the border with Israel and Syria), reachable by car, that are definitely worth to visit.

Jerash is much smaller and quieter than Amman.

Jerash is much smaller and quieter than Amman. But you will get to meet people like the operator of the 511 grocery or other markets, the owner of the property, and people say hello all the time. A short trip to Ajloun and you see a Byzantine castle. In between is Souf, a small town with many shops. A wonderfully quiet part of Jordan, and the Roman ruins are the best outside of Pompeii!

    The ruins were spectacular.

The ruins were spectacular. I thoroughly recommend taking 3-5 hours for them. The area is also a good getaway for North Jordan. You can enjoy cheap local food in Jerash. I found a nice shawarma place 5 minutes walk from the ruins. It was called: داريا للمطاعم جرش

Jerash archeological site is huge and worth visiting, spectacular views, whole streets with columns, temple of Zeus and Artemis. Probably more interesting details could be received from local guide, but all explanation posts are in place. Take 2L of water per person, especially during summer time and ignore local mercenaries inside. Comfortable shoes and clothe for 2-3 hours of walking recommended

when you go to Roman ruins be ''carefull'' (like everywhere) for people which are inside and selling various stuff - they are ''hunters'' and prepaird to pull out even only 1 JD :) but on the other way if you don't have guide you can ''use'' one of them for cheep money.

Jerash the hisotry park: if you have any real interest in Roman architecture, reserve the whole day to appreciate everything the huge park has. More to see than Petra on a smaller footprint. Make sure to view the museum. Good coffee shop and nice staff there. We didn't do anything in town.

This is the most unique hostel we stayed in Jordan! So clean, really the best location you might get in Jerash, The stuff was really nice and they are always ready for help. The whole place is well designed and It still new. I really recommend them, The breakfast was one of the best we had in Jordan, We took a countryside tour with the owner and It was really nice we saw a lot of things that we didn't expect to find it in this city. My stay was amazing thank Mohammad for your hospitality.

Lovely friendly family! They came to get us- beware the Google map reference from Booking.com bears no reference to the location so suggest message ahead for the address. They also sorted food as we were lazy (at local prices for a delicious spread). Up above the city- clean two bedroom with pretty well equipped kitchen and lounge area with TV. Wonderful local breakfast feast. There’s not a lot for an overnight stay in Jerash but if you do stay then I don’t think you will find better.

I travel a lot and I have stayed in so many places. For the money you pay at this place, this is the best place I have ever stayed in. The furniture and cleanliness is really good. Our host was very helpful and always available whenever needed. The decorations are better than some 5 star hotels. I did enjoy our stay and I'm definitely staying here whenever I come to visit family here in Jerash.

They made us very welcome; we felt at home. Highly recommended.

The room was big, comfortable, clean bedding and towels. Bathroom big and clean, shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper provided. Fridge, kettle, tea, coffee, plates and cutlery was provided too. Everything was perfect. The mosques are far enough to make the morning singing bearable. Unfortunately you can't avoid them in Jordan, so it's either right next to your ear or in acceptable distance.

The location of accommodation is very convenient and very easy to find with free parking on the street next to the house. The owner and his son were very very friendly and welcoming, caring for their guests. No problem what time you arrive. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with wifi. It is not a 5 stars hotel but I think it is a very good value for the money for travelers.

Host family is very kind and nice. Their greeting makes me feel heartwarming. The room is big and comfortable. Breakfast is traditional and wonderful taste. I totally recommend if you want to experience staying with the Jordanian family. The location is near Jerash archaelogical site by 3-minute driving but it's uphill.
