No food available for lunch. Had dinner there. Our orders were delivered less than 10 minutes after ordered and beautifully presented on the plate. Service was so fast the meals must have already been prepared and under a heat lamp for a while. Rabbit was dry.

The stand-out things to visit are the Greek theatre, public gardens, and the nice-looking buildings on the main street. A local visit to the even higher village of Castelmola (see picture) gives great views down on to Taormina, Etna and the coast. Local buses run there, or the hike is worthwhile.
If you are using public transport, then Taormina isn't a great place to use as a base, due to its position up a hill, but it is certainly worth a couple of days.
Buses are cheap but the information is difficult to come by, and they are not particularly frequent.

The Taormina area is wonderful.
The Taormina area is wonderful. The mountains, the water, the history. Getting around needs a bit of planning. Taxi, bus or cablecar/lift unless you don´t mind to walk up and down hill. :-) I´ll be back.

Stunning Taormina, full of heartbreaking corners and history. Our enthusiasm had to face the reality of a pricy place. Disappointment in meeting insisting members of staff from the hospitality field, who sometimes looked desperately in need of customers for their restaurants, bars, boat trips. Etc..Parking is very expensive but we appreciated the free shuttle service to the city center.

Taormina has beautiful views with pretty venitian buildings, very historical. The food is delicious, as it's a prime tourist location the price of dining out does reflect this. The service in restaurants is good, I found staff to be friendly. The bus station at Interbus terminal is in easy walking distance and it's a short bus ride to Giuardini Naxos beach which is sandy. Waiting times for buses can be long if you miss the bus. Cost of one way ticket for 3 people just under 6 euros. The cost of the journey on bus from Taormina to Catania airport is cheap, 21 Euros for 3 people. Cost of a taxi from the airport to Taormina is a bit expensive at 100 euros, but you can get the interbus which is a cheaper option but will take longer. Our journey by Taxi to Valentina B&B was around 1 hour and was arranged by the lovely lost Loredana at Valentina B&B. Our driver Giuseppe was polite , friendly and provided lots of tips about the location and places to eat etc. Try the paste marandela Sicilian cookies, almond flavour is delicious, also the Arancini, a good savoury snack filled with rice with different fillings. Try the tomato & veg one, delicious.Lucios restaurant was fantastic, staff friendly. And Di foesteria, opposite Valentina B&B where you can have breakfast or brunch, very good quality and nice staff.

The apartment was close to all amenities and the Bus station is a 10 minute walk. The apartment is beautifully set up and has a washing machine which was a great help. It provided enough coffee and biscuits for our stay. At night there is no noise from the main street and the bed was super comfortable. Overall it was perfect for our stay and great value for money. Many thanks to Isabella our host.

The town is bustling with activities, lots of sites to see, super selection of eateries ( had dinner at Lucchio’s. along the Main Street. Live street music that brought such an abundance of joy and happiness to the evening at dinner! A abundance of historic sites to take in when wandering through the town. Maps and information about where to go and see the Roman ruins easy to follow. Plus a great selection of shopping opportunities with unique gifts at your fingertips!
We decided spontaneously to stay a night in Taormina ( wow what a piece of heaven)
And booked a room at the hotel… when we arrived they upgraded our room to the best room we ever stayed in our mid long life… open sea view From every window and a big and amazing terrace!!!!
They saw that it is my husband birthday so they spoiled us with a wonderful cold ice champagne!!!!
Wowwww!!!
The breakfast is off course wonderful and the pool area also 5 star experience!!
We are counting the minutes to come back!!
We really enjoyed the hotel, location and territory. Attention to the guests , you can feel from the first second. We would like to thank receptionist manager Salvatore, very caring and professional, lifeguard Giovanni (service on the beach was great ), barmen Roberto, and all the staff.
The sea was amazing , beach, music, drinks and good breakfast. Thanks for manager Giuseppe Trefiletti for a compliment champagne.
Grazzie mille for hotel management. Our holiday was amazing, we would like to come back.
Perfect location just off the western end of the main pedestrian thoroughfare. This is a small family run 'boutique' hotel which has recently been renovated to a very high standard. Our room was quiet with good aircon and good buffet breakfast. Unlike some accommodation in Taormina, this hotel has a garage with parking for approx. 5 cars but strongly advise you pre-book. You will need satnav to find hotel. The owner (and staff) is very helpful and friendly and will guide you in/out of the garage.
The Taormina Panoramic was one of the best hotels we have stayed in over the past 5 weeks in Italy. Amazing location! Breakfast was huge and delicious! Best breakfast so far for us in Italy! I’m not gluten free but they had so many GF choices. The hotel was clean and all staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The pool and bar staff were excellent. Special mention to Carmelo at the front desk who filled us with great information and was always available to answer any questions
Beautiful little boutique hotel in the centre of Taormina. A small hidden gem which can't be spotted from the outside... but when you walk through the gate in to the garden with a small pool and dining area you find yourself in a different world. Our room was outstanding - spacious and with big indoor balcony area. To top it we had direct view to Etna from our bathroom. I can highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Taormina.
A charming hotel with views of the water away from the bussel of Taormina center. Nice pool amenities and access to public transportation nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff on directions and points of interest to see and places to eat. Communication was easy as staff speak more than one language. A shout out to Melo who greeted us every morning for breakfast and makes a great cappucino!
Alessandro, the host/manager was very kind, helpful and spoke very good English (which I found is very rare in Sicily...even with people that work with tourist).
The location of the hotel was very convenient for me, very close to Via Umberto, the Main Street.
The Hotel was very quite (even though is very near to the centre) and very clean. It has an elevator, which is not usual.
Everything was in the apartment and It looked clean. Nice little balcony for yourself with an amazing view over the ocean and Isola Bella. A busstop right in front of the hotel that takes you to the station.
The check in was great. The worker told me how to get into the town of Taormina, explained very well where I could find the centre and was very polite.
The rooms are all brand new, very high spec, and spotless. The location is great and the staff made us feel welcome before we even arrived, sending us messages to help us find our way to Taormina. Sonia speaks perfect English and she was a truly exceptional host.
This boutique hotel doesn't have a pool, but frankly why would you need a pool in Taormina?
I wish I could this property more then 5 stars. The apartment was exceptionally clean. The bed was so comfortable. The shower was absolutely lovely too. Easy parking right on the street in front of the apartment too. This was our fourth place we have stayed in Italy/Sicily and it was by far the best, cleanest, and most comfortable place we have stayed.
Beautiful location with amazing views. Grand hotel which would benefit from a refresh of the room we were in. A little more thorough cleaning would also improve the guest experience.
Best breakfast of our 10 day trip on a beautiful patio overlooking the ocean.
Also has parking which is hard to find at this hotel price point in Taormina.
The location was optimal with just a 5 minute walk to the city Centre. We travelled to Taormina mostly for a concert at the old theatre so the hotel was only a few minutes walk away. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful; sharing very useful information and offering tours for various attractions around the area.
the location was perfect. A nice easy walk to the centre of Taormina and the shops, restaurants and bars. The most amazing view from our sea view room and public areas of the hotel such as pool, breakfast room and drinks terrace. Room was typically Italian, basic but clean. Lovely cleaning staff for our room.
Fantastic boutique hotel in Taormina. We arrived during a heavy storm and the staff went out of their way to set us up for the night. Beautiful room on a high cliff overlooking Taormina. Great Breakfast. Will happily stay in this hotel if we ever find ourselves in Taormina again.
The hotel was situated in a beautiful spot, quiet but central. amazing views from the pool and balconies, nice breakfast.
exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows. a great stay for the whole family. a nice bonus is the shuttle offered to the sister hotel on the beach.
Lovely hotel in a great location, short walk to Taormina’s main streets, very close to the funicular and to the bus station. Best part was the lovely helpful staff. Would stay here again without hesitation.
Excellent location close to beach and cable car to centre of Taormina. Excellent waiter service dinner in restaurant. Hotel has own beach club/lido with mini bus transport, payable but good value for a day
Super cute hotel with a unique garden.
