Beautiful hotel and we loved being able to jump into the sea to swim from the pool deck area.
Loved having access to goggles, floaties and drinks and snacks from the sun loungers.

Wow! What an exceptional hotel, staffed by some of the most friendly, professional, polite and accommodating staff you could wish for. Nothing was too much trouble.
My Wife and I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and my Wife's Birthday, and we were completely enraptured by the charm of the hotel and the warmth of the welcome from the wonderful staff.
From our initial greeting we were made to feel valued and very welcome.
The hotel is truly an amazing building with so much character and in a wonderful location just a short walk above the town square of Ravello.
The room we stayed in - The Contessa - was beautiful. A huge bathroom with separate shower and spa / jacuzzi bath and 'his and hers' sinks. The suite has a separate seating area, dressing room and a very comfortable bed. The jewel was the double doors that open up onto a garden terrace with incredible views over Marmorata and Minori.
Each room on the garden terrace level had its own private seating area and across the well manicured lawn was another dining terrace.
On the day of our anniversary, we were able to have a private champagne breakfast, complete with rose petals adorning the table and single red roses for each of us - making it a truly memorable start to our special day.
The incredible staff were extremely accommodating in allowing us to carry out our own personal photo shoot to capture new memories of this wonderful weekend.
The breakfast served each day was exceptional and certainly set you up for a day of exploring the beautiful town of Ravello.
If you are looking for a romantic location or even a place where you can reset and put life into perspective - this is the perfect location.

Ravello is on top of the mountain and not a seaside town...
Ravello is on top of the mountain and not a seaside town like other Amalfi coast towns. There is a nice charm in the town itself. For those that don't rent a car, there is a bus that takes you to Amalfi. There are also paths that take you to Minori and Amalfi, just remember that the elevation of Ravello is at 1000ft, so walking to the other towns will require a walk back up the mountain or the use of a bus or taxi.

Ravello is all about the views, which are incredible.
Ravello is all about the views, which are incredible. The town itself is small but there are a handful of great restaurants and shops to see. If you are looking to get away from the crowds of Positano and Amalfi, this is the place.

Beautiful place.
Beautiful place. When the day-tourists arrive it becomes a bit crowded. In general it is a tourist place. Souvenir shops with overpriced ceramics and other useless items. There are some nice restaurants.
It is very difficult to get to and from Ravello with public transportation. Taxis in Amalfi charged 100 euro to go to Ravello, pure robbery. The bus takes 1½ hours from Amalfi and doesn't go often. You can walk down to Minori and Amalfi. Takes 45-60 minutes depending on fitness level. Walking up is also possible, but quite hard for the average person.

Villa Barluzzi is located close to the square with amazing views, stunning grounds and beautiful rooms. More like a bed and breakfast, Salvatore the manager is the absolute best! He contacted us before we arrived to give some details and welcome us, took the information of our car service and was in touch with the driver while we were on route. He saw that we had everything we could possibly need. Showed us around the Villa property, brought us up to the square, to show us around and just made us feel like family. I highly recommend this beautiful place! We can’t wait to return and will definitely be staying here again.

beaautiful town in the mountains . lively and personable. nice shops and things to see, good restaurants away from the tourists. great place to stay . close enough to get to amalfi and other towns. central location if you sre driving and has bus to amalfi area as well.
The food and service were great at the hotel. The afternoon eating area under the outdoor terrace and the dining room where breakfast and dinner were served both offered breathtaking views. The hotel is very chill and relaxing and the hotel staff were truly exceptional, among the best that I have experienced in my travels. I tore up me knee several days prior to the trip and experienced swelling. The hotel staff promptly and repeatedly brought ice to the room multiple times a day. Far above my expectations for service!
There is no shuttle service to town where all the restaurants and shopping are. Remote location. 25 to 30 euro to go 300 meters a 5th of a mile. Insane. You have to really make your return taxi plans ahead and confirm. To get from Ravello to Sorrento 200 euro and we held our breath. We were turned down by multiple private taxi services because of the location. The hotel restaurant closes on Thursday and doesn't post a sign or advise guest. So you're on your own and have to walk into town for your dinner.
Fabulous views from the private terrace of our room (see attached) and from the breakfast terrace. I believe all the rooms have these same views that people in the very upscale Ravello hotels pay a fortune for! Delicious dinner the night we ate in. Friendly staff with good tips on secluded non-touristy local walks. They have an arrangement with the nearby Auditorium car park for discounted secure parking, and the car park staff even run you back up the hill to save you the walk.
Great hospitality: the hosts are very nice and welcoming, even with the language barrier.
Very quiet location, at the top part of Ravello (Monte), out of the commercial area.
Parking is an issue there, we paid additional 25€ per day for that, but that’s acceptable and was pre-communicated.
Room is rehabbed with everything new.
The view from The breakfast roof is very beautiful.
The atmosphere is very calm.
Good value per cost.
- Location was perfect, right in the middle of Ravello with gorgeous views of the hills from the pool
- We had budget rooms but they were really big and lovely, big bathrooms and super clean
- Reception staff were lovely and porters helped with luggage not just within the hotel but also to our taxi which was a few mins walk from the hotel as Ravello is pedestrian only
- We had lunch and breakfast and both were very good
Such a wonderful location! The room is quite simple (studio with sea view) but we liked so much the placement (in the downtown of Ravello) and at the same time it is very quiet and peaceful. The Villa is next to the historical Villa Rufolo and the Rufolo hotel with a good terrace for quiet lunches out of tourists. Breathtaking view from any corner of villa, wonderful pool. We will definitely come back)
The staff were super helpful and attentive. They took us to our room and gave us very detailed help with getting around Ravello and what to see and do. The hotel had a MCM 50’s ocean vibe to it with a beautiful James Bond lounge with great modern woodwork overlooking the sea. Likewise the dining room also has insane views and heavenly views with the windows open as you eat a delicious breakfast.
This location was beautiful
We stayed in room #20 and we had views for days
We got greeted by the owner who was so helpful , he gave us a map of ravello , gave us bus tickets & booked us reservation for dinner . 10/10 service !!!!
We had dinner one of the nights at their location & their risotto was to die for , delicious… definitely recommend this hotel for stay at ravello
Best stay we had on our holiday in Italy. The location is perfect, room was comfortable and with very nice view ☺️ The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast each day, which had a great selection of yogurts, cereals, ham cheese and tomato, fresh cut bread each day. Cakes were lovely too and coffee☕ Gracie Miele !! 😊😊
EVERYTHING was top notch. This was the best vacation we have ever had as a family. We have been to some amazing places and hotels, including the Belmond Splendido in Portofino, Castello de Casole in Ruscany, Encanto in Santa Barbara, One and Only Palmilla in Cabo, etc. Caruso was by far the best - quiet, classy, welcoming, service, food, hospitality, …
Breakfast was super !
Staff was really helpful and quit good speaking English.
Location of the hotel is super close to main square of Ravello and also with the best view from the terrace and pool. The rate from us is not the best due to our room location and view, but the rest is excellent
the property is in an amazing location with the best views I have ever seen. They were even nicer than at the Caruso which is one of if not the most expensive hotels in Ravello. the owner Dani was absolutely lovely and so accommodating and helpful. she really went above and beyond.
The location was near the square and on the path we needed for the wedding venue villa eva. The pool was nice and having a pool bar was a plus. The hotel staff were very helpful and kind. They organized our rides and took our luggage to the ride.
The Hotel is in a fairy tail location, a dream of vacation. All really great!
Salty pool and access to the beach (concrete).
Clean and luxury furniture and room.
Staff cordial and friendly.
Shuttle service.
Breakfast tip top!
Hôtel well located in the center of Ravello. The room is spacious and clean and the garden very cute. The staff is very nice ! I would totally recommend the stay in this hotel and would come here again.
Excellent location in the heart of ravello. Clean room and everything was working. Lovely accomodation if you travel in Ravello. It is charasteristic B&B, so don't expect regular hotel.
