Set 656 feet from Erice Cathedral, right by the town walls, Il Carmine is a former monastery linked to the Carmelite order of monks.

The idea of a remodeled monastery was very appealing- the reality was an extremely basic stay. Felt more like a hostel- too much furniture (we had three beds in our room) - yet only one accessible plug (plus one in bathroom)- even in the wide hallway outside the rooms there was a poorly arranged assortment of way too much furnishings. Could have made good use of some of those couches in the room opposite the reception desk.
The staff was professional and lovely.
I wouldn’t not recommend, just know it’s basic accommodations.
Admire the view of Trapani as you dine on the terrace at Hotel Elimo, set in the heart of the picturesque, mountain village of Erice in northwestern Sicily.
In the heart of the pretty, historic, little village of Erice, this charming hotel enjoys fantastic views of the Mediterranean coast from Bonagia to San Vito lo Capo.
Admire the view across the terracotta rooftops of Erice from the roof terrace at Hotel Moderno.

The location is perfect. Right in the heart of all the attractions, shopping and restaurants. The taxi dropped us about 500 ft from the front door which was super convenient.
Just 984 feet from Erice Castle, Antico Borgo Erice is set on the main street of this historical town. This characteristic stone building offers rooms and an apartment, each with a balcony.

Antico Borgo is better than the pictures. Super cute and clean. Everything you need, with the staff close by. Great location. The restaurants and bakeries on the street are great, and lots of shops. The castle is a short walk up the street and there’s a breathtaking view on either side toward Marsala and toward San Vito Lo Capo.
Only 328 feet from the rocky beach, Orlando Vacanze Camere is 0.6 mi from Pizzolungo in Sicily. It offers air-conditioned accommodations, a terrace and a 24-hour reception.
LEO APPARTAMENTI con vista panoramica features air-conditioned accommodations in Erice. Featuring mountain and garden views, this apartment also comes with free Wifi.

Erice is a very charming town, and worth a visit, but only if you're able to walk steep hills and cobblestones. Maria Grammatico's pastry shop was a highlight for us, as was just walking around the town. Do be sure to 1) download EasyPark or a similar parking-pay app before you go, and if you stay in one of the hotels overnight, be sure to also download WhatsApp as most of the smaller Italian hotels use that to communicate.
All the food we had was great; prices were reasonable; not a lot of tourists, but even in early May, there were some.
We took a taxi up, which was pricer than the cable car, but I don't like heights!

Very old town with many things to see.
Very old town with many things to see.
Many restaurants for all kinds of food.
Since Erice is high up in the mountains, there are few level areas. Great for keeping in shape! You cannot get lost. It's a small town. Evenings get cooler, so bring a jacket if you plan to eat on a terrace.

The community has a nice offer for 12 Euro to enter all churches and monuments in the village. It can easily keep you busy and running around for a day in the village. A bus from/to the village from Trapani is 2,90 Euro and takes about 45 min. The Funivia (cable car is 6,50 Euro and takes about 20 min + the local AST 21 or 23 bus to take you there for 1,40 Euro). I saved one cable car ride for the last evening just as an experience enjoying the sunset views and using it as a way to reach the village late. The last bus from Trapani is 17.30 the last cable car around 20.00.

Apartment is located in the center of the old town, which is very nice. What we didn't like is a horrible and continuous noise coming from the water pomp, that we heard in our room. It was impossible to relax with this sound. Moreover we booked an apartment with a kitchen, which we didn't have. The host told us it was put in the add by mistake.

It's a fascinating medieval town where we spent many hours, we also had a lovely lunch at the convent restaurant.
We also went on the cable car with its fantastic view of Trapani below. There was actually nothing to do at the bottom so be went back up to Erice!
Old historical building. Felt very special to stay there. The staff made an effort to warm the room up and make sure we were comfortable.
Claudio received us warmly, helped with the parking, suggested where to go to see the sunset, explained about the area and the building and was very helpful.
We had a wonderful dinner there. Our best in Sicily.
In the morning Helena checked us out and helped with breakfast. She was also very helpful and pleasant.
The location of the former Convent is very good considering that one must walk around to visit attractions in Erice. In a few minutes you can easily reach the centre. The room was very tidy and spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful indeed. Also parking was not an issue since our visit was exactly after the start of free parking period.
centrally located near all the sights, restaurants and shops. accommodations were great: comfortable, warm heater, comfortable bed, big shower with plenty of hot water.
Maurizio picked us up at the free parking area which can be a bit difficult to find and brings us to our apartment. coffee maker in the room made tasty coffee.
The apartment is huge, with an enormous sitting room, a kitchen/ dining room and large bathroom. It also has a nice balcony and a terrace overlooking the garden. There is also private parking on the premises. Very close to the cable car to Erice and the bus stop to go right to the old town.
The hosts were so warm and welcoming, helping us find parking, helping us with our luggage, and gifting us bottles of wine and traditional local foods. We couldn't have asked for a better location or a more comfortable stay in beautiful Erice.
The location was in the countryside but there is a bus from Trapani to Ballata. The host helped me a way to which buses to take to go to Erice, Segesta. Hospitality was excellent and I felt at home.when you are open
Maurizio kindly collected us from the car park. Room was good. Bombarded with information about private parking and how to access it, but none of it was relevant because parking in Erice was free over the winter.
The food was out of the world delicious! The location we found to be very convenient to all the places we visited (Erice, Trapani, San Vito Lo Capo and Zingaro reserve). Very nice accommodations and lovely hosts!
Very nice hotel in Erice. The breakfast could be a bit better though, but maybe it was because we were the last to eat and 1-2 things had finished. The view of the seaside is amazing from the balconies!
Case Bruno made us feel like we were transported back into the elegance and culture of Erice centuries before, albeit with modern comforts. Our hosts were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful.
The location is great, beautiful views, good breakfast.
Parking infront of the hotel was not available, but they have free extra parking 350 meters away, which was great
This was a great value stay!
The location was great. the breakfast was nice in the hotel’s panoramic restaurant. The hotel’s restaurant was closed, but the hotel staff was very helpful in getting us a dinner reservation.
Marco & staff were excellent. Breakfast was great, with many choices. The grounds were fantastic, and we took several morning walks. Conveniently located to see that section of Sicily.
Great location, amazingly helpful staff, exceptional view from our room. Breakfast included. Airport transfer from Trapani Airport easily arranged by hotel.
Friendly host, parking in front of the house on the calm street. Nearby to the sea, Trapani/Erice. Next to the Pizzolungo hill. Good coffee and breakfast.
