It is such a small town, that most people only spend a few hours there. As I came by train and bus, I chose to stay a night and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere as the sunset and the crowds left. The restaurant, Trattoria Bruschetteria La Cantina di Arianna, where I ate had a great choice on the menu and was a cosy place to eat.

You better bring a camera.
You better bring a camera. You and your friends will not believe the views and sites without proof. Read up on its history, founding and development to gain an understanding and appreciation for the significance of this place. Make sure you meet Franco, he's "the man".
The owner is very nice, he gave us a lot of suggestions. If you arrive with your car he will provide you a pass to park 100 meters from the structure. He gave us the bigger room even if we booked the smaller one. The room was very nice and clean with all the amenities (including the sleepers). Breakfast is available at a small bar close to the B&B (owner will provide you a coupon…the croissants in that bar are very very good). Of course a visit to Civita di Bagnoregio can be done easily from the B&B.
We loved this place! We stayed for 6 nights and had everything that we needed! He supplied us with more than enough food/drink for breakfasts. The location was perfect for us visiting our daughter in Bagnoregio. We had trouble finding the place when we arrived due to it being dark and our maps not working. We called our host and he met us where we were and had us follow him to Amarcord. Just excellent service and great experience! I will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area!!
Top location, very well decorated and equipped. We visited Civitta di Bagnoregio and decided to stay over night, so even if we were so close to the check in deadline, host was incredibly helpfull and understanding. Fast online check in, code provided for entering, all the details concerning parking at a great rate for the day given. Had a minor issue during our stay, but the host took care of it very kindly. Be pacient if you do not receive an answer ASAP, the internet coverage can be tricky.
large spacious 2 bedroom apartment. well equipped. spotless clean. like the town it is authentic, rustic but with good modern conveniences. lighting, outlets, a/c all work well. unobstructed view from large kitchen is wonderful. town is small and main square is just few steps away. I have visited civita several time but this is first to spend the night. Claudia was very nice. escorted us to the property and provided all necessary parking and access information and support.
When I booked the room I didn't realise that we would be actually staying in the little village of Civita di Bagnoregio...the city in the sky. It was a lovely surprise. The village is beautiful and perfect. There are plenty of restaurants open during the day but you will need to book for dinner as there are only 2 that are open at night. We ate at both and they were both very good.
Lovely apartment, it is approximately a 15 minute walk to the bridge to Civita di Bagnoregio (which is absolutely well worth visiting). Friendly host who met us in the carpark and walked 5 minutes with us to the apartment. Although I can't speak Italian and she couldn't speak English, she was very helpful and even helped us find a restaurant. Lovely courtyard to sit outside in.
The location was good for exploring Civita di Bagnoregio, Bolsena, Orvieto, Marta and all the other beautiful towns around.
The swimming pool and hammock were a bonus. There is only one studio so no-one else is around.
Leonardo is a great host.
The bed is on a mezzanine so quite romantic abcs if you like lilac colour then you will love this place, cute and quaint
this was the perfect place to stay for a few nights in Bagnoregio. a perfect location in a small side street, right near restaurants and the bus stop and it’s only a 20 minute walk to the civita lookout, then another 10 to get to the city of civita!
it was warm and comfy, and the host was lovely when it came to explaining everything to me.
Amazing view of Civita di Bagnoregio from our room’s terrace. Loved the pastries/croissants for breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Fully enjoyed the restaurant in Bagnoregio as recommended by Danielle. (Also bought face cream from Danielle’s shop (sensitive skin type) and we LOVE it!).
A beautiful, quiet place with magical views of nature! Very friendly and hospitable hosts! Nearby is the wonderful, colorful town of Bagnoregio with a walk to Civita di Bagnoregio! Cleanliness, comfort and fresh air, excellent landscaping and interior!
The location was great with a view from our bedroom window onto the center piazza.
The fact that we were the only ones in this 3 bedroom hotel. Very quiet.
Via messages & phone, Franco, the owner, was very responsive & helpful, but we never met him.
Very unique location in the center of Civita Bagnoregio. Very authentic apartment full of characteristics. Free parking as an resident was a gift! The owner was very kind and helpful too. We wanted to extend our stay but it was already sold out...
Civita is a must see! Our apartment was amazing. Patrizia, the owner, was so nice and helpful. We got in late, so she met us and walked us up to the apartment. She also kept in contact with us hours before we got there to make sure was ok.
Spacious apartment, well-equipped, and the staff was really nice and helpful. Since we stayed in Bagnoregio during a rainy day, we appreciated Netflix, kitchen, and breakfast available in the apartment.
Everything was perfect, the room was spacious and very clean as well as the bathroom. The host was super nice and gave us a card that allowed us to park our car very close to the hotel.
Words can not describe Civita do Bagnoregio, this was our 3rd visit and the best of them all. Enough room for 6, facilities were good, the garden area was fabulous.
