location was perfect - the airport bus has a stop just around the corner from the hotel which makes getting to/from the airport really convenient and easy. the hotel has an interesting looking bar that we didn't spend much time at but it looked cool. it's right near Camden street which has some fun pubs and restaurants, and it's close to st. Stephens green which is a lovely park. most of the downtown area is within walking distance

the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated...
the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated being so close to the airport as it made my onward journey much easier. The price for a room for one person was 239 euros, which I find extortionate whether or not this is what hotels in Dublin charge. The breakfast was a buffet which was very disappointing. I expected table service for breakfast at this price. The food had been picked over and it was just not good enough.
the reception staff on arrival were excellent and welcoming. The restaurant staff were lovely. Drinks and food are overpriced in my opinion.

Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet...
Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet only 20-30 minutes by bus from Dublin. We had lunch in the on-site restaurant, and although it took longer than expected for our pizza, all the food was well prepared and tasty. Staff was accommodating, providing fans for the room as requested, and check-in & -out was a breeze.

Santry is NOT a destination!! It is a near-airport hotel!
Santry is NOT a destination!! It is a near-airport hotel! Anyone staying more than one night would go to Dublin or other areas of Fingal, but there is not much in Santry other than the shopping center and DUB airport!!

We were there purely for attending the Santry Sports Clinic...
We were there purely for attending the Santry Sports Clinic and it was well located for this purpose. There also seemed to be regular shuttles to the airport. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our meals. The staff were great.
We booked the Holiday Inn Express (Dublin Airport), due to arriving back very late from a trip to Italy. To our surprise, we were informed that the Hotel had closed and that we were being 'upgraded' to the neighbouring Crowne Plaza. The upgrade was superb, with a magnificent breakfast, wonderful room and great facilities. The staff were all very courteous and nothing was a problem.
Good hotel for early departure!
Nice lounge and good food and service! Comfy bed!
The hotel is 15 minutes away from the airport and has a free shuttle bus to and from the airport which we really appreciated! We arrived early and they let us store our luggage while we went downtown to explore Dublin! A bit far from downtown but very helpful in calling a taxi.
Tomsk (Door Man) helped us get parked and carried my bag into the hotel when we checked in and out he was so friendly and kind. Staff were very friendly - airport transfer was on time and convenient. Room was a bit noisy from cars outside i think the window was broken there was wood screwed onto it. But no complaints. Highly recommend.
Well, Dublin is a bit of a drag for not having train service to the airport, so we stayed near the airport.
We weren't really expecting anything, and so were delighted when it was comfortable and clean. However, the restaurant was really good. Food was great and the service was excellent. The breakfast was similarly very good.
We went up to hotel as our daughter was partaking on miss ireland. The food was fantastic couldn't fault it from starter to main to dessert delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially at breakfast time.
We got bus up room waterford to airport and have to say the shuttle bus made it so convenient we'll dome.
First, it was not a Holiday Inn Express--which was closed. Instead, it was the Crown Royal next door which was apparently accomodating the reservations of the closed Holiday Inn. As such, we were staying at a fancier hotel than we booked. So this evaluation is irrelevant concerning the Holiday Inn.
Very nice hotel located 10-min bus from Dublin airport. There is a free shuttle from and to the airport running regularly every 30 minutes. The room was spacious, nice, clean; the bed was comfortable. WiFi worked well. Staff was friendly, professional and helpful.
Great location for the night before an early flight from Dublin airport. The shuttle bus service was very handy. Beds were comfortable. The restaurant was good. We left too early for the included breakfast but provided us with a basic packed breakfast.
This hotel was the best I had stayed in around the airport and I would definitely stay again. Breakfast times were good and they provided an excellent breakfast. They also had a decent checkout time of 12 noon.
Beautiful and upscale hotel. Room was quite comfortable. Breakfast was included and was a super buffet. Appreciated the shuttle to and from the airport. Loved taking a walk through the park near by.
I like the crown plaza hotel thats where I stay coz this hotel is closed. So my rate 8s for the crown plaza hotel. The Hilton is closed they moved me there without notice at all.
Brought my son to Dublin for an event and we stayed at the Metro hotel. It was a lovely experience. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent
