Room isn't super big but big enough for solo, and I guess also for two. The staff guy was extremely friendly, hospitable and accommodating, always trying to help. I had a great stay here. Location is fantastic, you are at the seaside within minutes. Sometimes at night the dogs outside try to do a group orchestral symphony, but it doesnt keep you awake.

We visited Samos beginning of April. Despite we did not expect to swim, we swam last day of our visit and regretted that we had not previous days. The restaurants are not open all year long. Most of them were closed. Specially the ones on beaches. We found tavernas in Palaikastro: Triantaphyllos, Paradosiako and one on the beach: Mirto. Wine Museum was great to visit but please check before visit. They told that it was their first day of the season. I would suggest going May or September to enjoy more and avoid crowd.

If your looking for a low key stay that isn't overly touristy, Samos in the off-season (October) fits the bill. We'd like to come again to visit more of the villages, but did enjoy the beaches on both sides of the island.

We go to Samos most summers as my family live there. It's a peaceful green island with wonderful beaches and mountain villages. You really need a car to visit places as the local bus service is limited.

We have been travelling to Pythagorion for more than 20 years, and the place offers so much peace and quiet, great greek food and atmosphere compared to other greek islands we have visited, that we will continue to come here to relax and meet good friends we have made here. You will become friends with the locals, and the joy of reunion is mutual.

Samos is a fairly big island very close to the Turkish coast...
Samos is a fairly big island very close to the Turkish coast (day trips possible!), which offers delights for several kinds of holidays: (i) plenty of trails to walk around the island, taking you from Monasteries to beaches, (ii) lovely fishing villages with tavernas serving delicious Greek food (example Kokkari in the North) and (iii) historical landmarks for the passionates of mathematics (Pythagoras), philosophy (Epicure) or Greek archeology (the remains of Goddess Hera’s temple in Heraion, listed on the UNESCO World Heritage).
In general, given the size of the island and the distances between landmarks, beaches and villages, it is highly recommended to rent a car to move around, as the bus schedule is quite restrictive. There were plenty of Taxis though, in general waiting in the main squares of the biggest cities (Vathy, Kokkari, Pythagoreio, Heraion).
Lovely small family-run hotel, just north of Samos Town. The owners are super friendly. Our studio was clean and comfortable, and the balcony had a beautiful (sea) view. Bed was comfortable. There's a kitchenette with some basic equipment, but since you are in Greece and great food is everywhere (and affordable) you probably won't be cooking anyway ;)
Speaking of food: they serve a delicious home-made breakfast, with something different everyday.
Samos Town is 5-10 minutes by motorbike/car and about 30 minutes by foot.
If you like retro-look hotels, this is the place to stay in whole Samos. Perfectly located on a hill just out of Vathi harbour, with breathtaking views from the rooms and the spacious terrace , I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
Our room was very comfortable. With combination of modern and classic touches, it felt like home.
Owned and operated by a nice family, service is very sincere. Special thanks to owner Ms Eleni; she made our stay very pleasant.
Definitely will visit again on our next trip.
The apartment was very well equipped, clean and in good repair. The cooking facilities were good with plenty of appliances and also a washing machine. There was some free water, orange juice and fruit, and toiletries. The bed was comfortable (which is not too frequent in Samos) and there was instant hot water. The general appearance was nice too, the owners have made an effort to be welcoming and homely. The location is central in Ireon and right beside a supermarket and a car park.
We stayed three nights. Ioannis and Nikki are great hosts. The view is magnificent, rooms are very clean and looks nice. Swimming pool is great. The place is closw to Samos town however renting a car is needed to go to the beaches and other places, like in elswhere in the island. The place is 10 min away to Kokkari beach and 20 min to psili amos which are lovely. Overall our stay was peaceful and wery nice. Thanks.
Everything was perfect and above than our expectation.
The owner of the property is very helpfull and friendly, thanks to him and his daughter we had a very nice holiday in Samos.
The house is very clean, very comfortable and modern.
It is very convenient to stay in this house with family or friend group, there is all equipment inside the house what we need.
The location of the house is very good also.
Nancy is perfect host and she give us too much information about island. Room is very clean and designed very cool. Hotel is perfect but I would like to say Nancy is aristocrat and you will inspire from her with every conversations. She has an art gallery which pictures made by her. Don’t forget the visit there.Hotel is smelling art and you will have very good times.Thank you so much to Nancy.🙏
Comfortable, newly-renovated, modern two-bedroom village house. Fully-equipped kitchen with brand new appliances, cooking utensils etc. Steps away from the village square and one of the best restaurants on the island. Convenient gated parking area. As in most islands village roads in this village are narrow so small car is best.
As someone who previously lived in Vathy, the hotel was well located to get around. There was a beautiful view from the balcony and a cozy courtyard. The hosts/staff were lovely and helpful, checking in to see that everything was okay. The space was comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay.
The apartment was beautiful! We loved the couch in the sunroom we hung out in there a lot, the Netflix on the tv was nice. AC worked great, we utilized the washer, the bed was cozy! Nothing bad to say here. Yunnis was very kind and informative, gave us a map of Samos and was so welcoming!
The hotel designed as a luxury hotel. Pool area was very silent and comfortable. Breakfast was good, plenty of options. Rooms were clean and seaview room's view was fantastic. Very close to the vathy port.
Wow, they fixed the beach dressing cabin! And now there's a working bar nearby!
The rest is covered in my past reviews. Still, I consider Samos Bay Hotel the best of vfm accommodations in Samos town.
Ideal position in the bay.The beach is beautiful.Lounge chairs ,you pay even you order some drinks or food-View from the hotel terrace is execeptionel. The room big, very clean.
Location is really good, close to ferry, and center. Amazing garden. Clean and big rooms with fully equipped kitchen. Owner of the hotel so kind and smiling face
