Nice place and very close to all key attractions of ancient Olympia. The host, Vasili, is extremely friendly and helpful. We got a very homely feel at the place thanks to their hospitality. They also have a small tavern and provided decent veg meal on request.
Just 300 metres from the archaeological site of Olympia, Neda Hotel features free wireless internet access and a restaurant.

Stayed in a room with a shared pool situated in the garden. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We were all inclusive and the food exceeded our expectations. We loved having our breakfast looking out over the sea. The sandy beach was gorgeous with very warm water and beautiful views of the sunset. Olympia is a 30 min drive away and we spent a fascinating morning visiting the site and museum.

The genuine politeness of the staff. The hotel staff was exceptional. I consider this to be the greatest assess of this facility.

The hotel is ideally located on the edge of the center in a quiet location. The hotel has a nice feel of days gone by which is a nice change from modern furnished hotels. The rooms are spacious and the beds are superb!
Hotel Ilis is located at the entrance of the town of Ancient Olympia, approximately 200 metres from the centre. The museum and the ancient stadium are 3 km away.

The owner and the staff were all excellent. The service was impeccable, the location of the hotel ideal, within walking distance of the museum - exceptional value for money proposition. Will definitely be staying there again on my next visit to Olympia.

We have visited 3 times over 15 years and the accommodation and cafe, recommended by Hotel, were both excellent. We should have hired virtual reality glasses for the ancient Olympic in advance. We couldn't find them at the site.

Olympia is a large site, while very significant, it’s also a bit confusing to understand and is in some ways, underwhelming compared to other Greek sites. I wish we got the VR glasses that are rented to hep understand the site better as we walked through.

I didn’t realise just how important Olympia was, the first Olympic Games happened here, the ancient state of Greece was inaugurated here, some of the greatest sculpture ever made reside here. All set amongst the most beautiful landscape.

Obviously, the main reason to visit Olympia is fror the ancient ruins of the Stadium and surrounding artifacts. It is a full day to see everything. We didn't engage the audio guide, as it was a bit complicated with a pre-set-up and download. But I recommend going into the museum to see the model of the area as it was in use to more fully enjoy and identify the ruins. Walking under the arched tunnel into the stadium made the hair on my arms stand up - such an energy.

Olympia was quite a surprise for me.
Olympia was quite a surprise for me.
Considering its a small town it had all you could need.
The ancient archeological site is a must see for anyone interested in history and the museum is great also and a must see as well.
The town is cosy with everything walking distance and at night its something else with restaurants and bars and shops all lit up and vibrant plus wide tree lined streets that make it a pleasure to walk through.
I can definitely recommend it and maybe a stop over on the way to the Ionian islands.
Ohhh forgot to say that one of the nicest restaurants is Taverna Orestis where i had one of the nicest meals iv had in my 9 weeks in Greece i can highly recommend it.

One night stay is enough for visiting the Archeological Site and the Museums. The small the town has only two major streets, one with shady restaurants and the other with shops. You can fint not only the Olimpia museums but a small museum about Archimedes which is really worth to visit.
It is quite a long time to get to Olimpia from the direction of Corinth, but you can choose the slower route across the hills which hides lovely villages.
The pool at Hotel Europa was a dream. We stayed for one night and immediately wanted another and the staff was very accommodating. As two women traveling together, we appreciated that the staff seemed comfortable with same-sex couples. The dinner restaurant was very good, though we decided to make our 2nd dinner a poolside affair, eating from the a la carte menu that closed at 6:00. The breakfast buffet was, in a word, robust. The grounds are beautiful and the fruit trees were an added pleasure.
Katerina picked us up from the bus station.Lovely pastoral setting in a small quiet village.100 metres from bus station, restaurants, bars and shops.Big supermarket next to gas station 400 metres. One K pleasant walk along main street to museum and ancient Olympia.Usually with Booking we are given the best room.We didn’t get it the first night but they very kindly let us switch to it the next morning. This room has a big balcony and a nice breeze.
The studio was quite small for 4 people - we were a little bit crammed up there but we stayed there only for one night and from his point of view (and for it's perfect location near Ancient Olympia) it was absolutely ok. The guesthouse itself was absolutely awesome with a perfect, refreshing pool, terrace with great vista and stylish taverna. Everything was ok and we enjoyed the stay there very much.
All personnel is nice and efficient. The swimming pool is surrounded by garden and you have a bar service. The room is design, well equipped and has a beaufiful view on the valley. We had dinner in the garden with a beautiful sunset. The archeological site is very near by car and we did it even by foot ; nice walk of 15 min but quite sportive on the return as the hotel is on the hill.
Lovely owners - very friendly and helpful. Older style family-owned accommodation in the middle of town with a very comfortable bed and spacious balcony. A short/easy walk to the Olympia archaeological site. We also had access to a nearby hotel with a swimming pool, which was a bonus. Good breakfast included. Great value and a recommended place to stay in Olympia.
The king size bed and bedroom had a cute patio and the living room had to twin beds. It was cute and decorated nice. There was Nescafe and Tea for the morning. It was in a great location near many restaurants and walking distance to the archeological sites. The host was friendly. Instructions were clear. I would stay there again.
The room was spotlessly clean with a lovely private outdoor terrace. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfast at €5 was delicious and good value. Great location at the bottom of town near all of the restaurants and a 10 min walk to the archaeological site.
Super friendly owners welcomed us to the town, to the hotel, offered advice for dining out, sights, etc. Quiet clean room within short walking distance to ancient Olympia. You won't find a better value for the $.
Very comfortable and spacious house conveniently located near the Olympic site. Our host was easy to communicate with. Also highly recommend the nearby tavern which is within walking distance.
The position is near the Olympia site and the city center. The staff is always available and the room was very accommodating.
The price is really convient for a structure like this.
Hotel Inomaos was conveniently located right in Olympia Town, within walking distance of everything. It is a clean, friendly and safe environment. Great for my 2 night solo stay.
huge villa in vineyard near Olympia. outstanding value - far more rooms and beds than we needed. very pretty garden to sit. ice cold air conditioning in all rooms.
The family that owns and runs the hotel was delightful. Very considerate and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was very good.
