The first requirements of any stay should always be a comfortable bed and a good shower, unfortunately we had neither. Instead of 1 comfortable bed we had two beds with broken mattresses neither of which fitted the divan bed frames. Even the sheets were inadequate as they didn't cover the entire mattress. According to the host we received the best room, it was the whole of the top floor consisting of two bedrooms, three balconies and a shower. Not en suite. The bathroom is at the end of the living space. The shower sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. We didn't bother to mention this to thr hosts as prior feedback over a year ago indicated it was broken then and still is now. There is no door between the stairway and the living space which means anyone can wander up the stairs so you must sleep with your bedroom door locked and there is no door to enclose the living space. There is however a security camera which we were not told about and given the fact you may walk around between the bedroom and bathrooms nude is a complete invasion of privacy and also highly likely illegal. We noticed this camera several days into our stay.

This place was exactly what I needed after getting the overnight train from Vanadzor to Batumi. I didn't know Georgia at all, although have been in Armenia for six months. This place is in a great location, a few minutes walk to the bus stop into town and beyond, and also to the beach. The best thing was the view especially at sunset from the balcony. Everything was clean, the family who own the place are very friendly and respectful, and the kitchen facilities were perfect. I will be back!
