The facilities are fabulous, huge comlex so enough room to accommodate a variety of ages. All staff are so efficient at their jobs, therefore, everything runs smoothly. We stayed in an apartment, which really helped make our stay cheap with buying food in and tea and coffee. I know the restaurant food is amazing though as we have stayed before. Location is perfect, quiet, but also convenient to the front where there are plenty more bars and restaurants.

Torquay is a faded gem. Sadly the area lost the many well-paid jobs in technology which, coupled with the loss of domestic holidays to the mediterranean resorts, cost it dear. The area is now run-down, but there are many attractions still available. It's well worth a visit (I would say that, I lived there for ten years and enjoyed it greatly), as it's a unique corner of the UK!

If you like drinking and being a general yahoo in the streets then Torquay would be the ideal location for you. Definitely don’t recommend driving your car, as you’ll need to walk miles to get to it.
Overrated, with no class to it at all.

Torquay is a lovely English seaside town, has lots of links to Agatha Christie and some great local restaurants and bars. Lots of things to do only down side is at the moment the town is under going many road works in and out so getting about can be a bit slow by car/taxi. its also very hilly so walking can be difficult if in anyway unabled.

Been to Torquay regularly down the years, but we missed last year due to other commitments. Couldn't believe the change. What has happened to the town? It is a dishevelled, shabby place. Now full of beggars, roadworks, and boarded up shops. Thoroughly depressing and I'm so sad to say that I will not be returning. It is a ghost of what it once was, the jewel in Torbay. Couldn't wait to leave..
We wanted somewhere to stay for our daughter's wedding based at the Imperial Hotel in Torquay. We came across Palm Grove Apartments and struck gold! We had 3 apartments, one was a 2 bedroom, and all of them were to a very high standard and prefect for our needs. The hosts could not have done more, very friendly and great communication. We would not look elsewhere if we were to stay in Torquay for another occasion

The property is exactly what you expect from an old fashioned hotel in Torquay, it got character and it’s in the best location, it was basic but it was cheap and clean. There’s nothing wrong with it at all. It’s a bit dated but that adds to the charm of the place in my eyes. We had an amazing anniversary weekend here and would definitely go again
I love the location of the hotel, the fact that it has parking, comfortable rooms, excellent showers, good lighting, GREAT breakfasts. Proper milk in the room in the fridge. Plus efficient and friendly staff. Given how many awful hotels there are in Torquay, this place is a real revelation.
Excellent hotel Great location with parking. Lovely clean spacious room with lots of storage space. Very large comfy bed. Clean well equipped bathroom. Lovely little bar The Griffin connected to hotel Lovely very helpful bar staff. Will definitely stay here again when in Torquay next.
Hotel was spotless facilities excellent and the room was spotless too excellent shower.great for parking and the location was about a 3 minutes from the harbor and bars and 5 minutes to the town centre. The owners were very nice and pleasant. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Amy was very friendly and explained everything about her Hotel. The room and public areas had obviously been recently redecorated to a very high standard. The Breakfast Room and the menu could be faulted. Will come back to The Rosewood if I need to be in Torquay again.
The hotel was in a good position, really good value for money, we had the budget room so wasn't sure what to expect with some of the other reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised very good for the price we paid.Staff were very welcoming and friendly.
Really good location plenlty of parking spaces near to the hotel, short walk to the centre/Harbour, Liz was very welcoming the hotel was lovely and clean with a really nice breakfast we will be definitely return next time we come to Torquay.
The best thing about this hotel is the Leisure centre. Great swimming pools/ jacuzzi/spa etc. The main hotel is like a rabbit warren of corridors with very squeaky floors. But the rooms are clean with comfortable beds and linens
The hotel was in a fantastic location, right on the front of the torquay sea front in the heart of the town. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were amazing. The breakfast was 10/10 highly recommend this hotel.
Great location. Easy to book and amend our stay. Room was comfy and clean. Some small areas needed attention but it's a good hotel. We had a sea view which was a bonus. Staff are friendly and check in was really easy.
Not one single thing - checked in and checked out 20 mins later. Unclean, unsafe, dirty, rude staff appalling disgusting this chain needs to address this hotel and how it is run immediately
We needed a hotel close to the sea front for just one night as we were moving to a house near to the Grand. It was perfect location for our requirements.
wicked staff after we got seriously mugged off by OYO Inglewood hotel who cancelled us last minute when we already got to Torquay all the way from London
