Very good value for a budget hotel. Dinner in bar was very good, room was fine and breakfast excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I had read the reviews so was not expecting anything fantastic. The room was tired but spacious, clean and ensuite. Bed was comfortable and water was hot. It is right in the middle of old Rochester but pretty cheap. The music is loud from the bar below but knew that would be the case. Overall good for a cheap and basic hotel in the middle of town.
