Exceptional place to stay. We had a warm welcome, really great helpful staff. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. We has such a fantastic time, and wonderful comfortable bed, very relaxing. Everything was high quality including our breakfast ( lovely bright breakfast room with super views). Easily one of the best (actually, probably the best!) Place we ever stayed. Highly recommended, many thanks

We have visited Inverness three times now, but this was our first stay in Nairn. The beach is very welcoming with plenty of space to walk, run, play and enjoy the views; this is the kind of beach I would visit and walk along every day if I lived there. Located close nearby are various historical places to visit (Cawdor Castle, Culloden, Clava Cairns) and Inverness is not far away. Not being much of a "city person" I love to wake up to views and fresh air -- and Nairn offers places like the Invernairne Hotel that enable you to do that and still visit so much nearby.

Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness.
Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness. The beach was lovely to stroll along, as was the canal. Lots of restaurants dotted around town. An amazing ice cream shop located in park near the beach is worth seeking out. The architecture of some areas was stunning old Edwardian homes, really enjoyed wandering around the streets looking at them.

Charming town. I recommend visiting the Nairn Museum first.
Charming town. I recommend visiting the Nairn Museum first. Their volunteers are helpful and have first hand knowledge of the history of the town. I recommend having a car to travel to sites around Nairn that are too far to walk.

Nairn is a very nice town except for the High St which like most in Scotland is suffering at present. However nice to remember the old shops closed now Mackays grocer, Rose Brothers, Gauls toy shop Heards Morgantis to name a few, Nice to see Pat Fraser is still there. Recommend the Classroom at the top of the High Street to eat. Very easy to walk around and nice walks at the river.
The hotel was beautifully decorated. Our sea view room was designed with the beach in mind. Hues of blue. It was lovely to hear the sea in our room.
Particularly loved our bathroom - the bath was fab!
The restaurant had lovely views down towards the Moray Firth. Good access to Nairn town centre.
Dinner was excellent as was the wine!
But what made it for us was the exceptional staff - friendly and courteous - nothing was too much trouble.
All made us feel very welcome.
We would both definitely return for another weekend break.
Invernairne is beautiful! We had a lovely room overlooking the pretty garden & water. The room was large with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious & the coffee was the best we had in Scotland! Ryan, Sue & Leslie were very friendly & gave us wonderful suggestions for dinner. We had such a great time chatting in the gorgeous pub with Ryan, Sue & Leslie. We will absolutely return to this lovely hotel! Thank you!
Helen was an amazing host and we had the best time at Glen Lyon. We only wish we could have stayed longer! The rooms were adorable and clean, with lovely ensuite bathroom facilities. Breakfast was delicious and home-cooked. The location in Nairn was lovely and we were able to walk to the beach and to dinner easily.
Location of the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was extremely good and included a vegetarian option. It was served by two waiters and one waitress each morning who were professional, friendly and very helpful. A credit to the hotel. All the staff we encountered were in fact very friendly. We hope to return.
Everything was perfect. So much thought & warmth from Sharon & Greg on design and decor. They gave me lots of information on local area too.
The north east coast of Scotland is so beautiful & tranquil and still have convenience of lots of tourist attractions, restaurants and lovely boutique shops.
The hotel is situated on a beautiful quiet street about 15 min walk from centre of Nairn. My room was very comfortable and incredibly clean with an amazing wet floor shower (think that’s what they are called!) I can’t comment on Breakfast because I never had any. Staff very helpful on my arrival!
We had a warm welcome and Mary is a truly excellent host and we will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Scotland. It was spotless and beautifully presented. We had our own tv come breakfast room that even had a microwave and fridge in. It’s a 10/10 from us.
Sharon & Greg responded immediately to every question i had.
They had everything covered - bottled water in the fridge, first aid kit, chocolate and cookies and candy upon checking in.
Best Place we have stayed at in Scotland
The breakfast was cooked to order every morning, served with fresh coffee and your choice of juice and yogurt. Honestly, some of the best bacon I have ever had was served at this hotel. It was a lovely way to start each morning.
Amazing stay. EVERYONE in the hotel was fantastic, and all recommendations for restaurants and trips were perfectly on spot. I would prefer that cosy place over the most luxury hotels any time. Thanks again!
Great breakfast and conversation. Also a great way to meet other travelers from different parts of the UK and world. Lovely visit! Also a nice walk to some trails and the town of Nairn.
Nice hotel but a little bit pricey for a one-night stay in a room above a pub (£102 for double room with breakfast) - but comfortable and clean and very friendly staff
Beautiful wee gem in the small fishing cottages of nairn, this would be tbe original homes for fisherman. Loved we just around corner from sea and harbor.
Such a beautiful location. Everything about this hotel is first class. Staff very friendly. Food excellent . Highly recommend and I don’t want to leave!
The breakfast was wonderful with fresh ingredients and glorious coffee which was probably the best in Scotland. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
