Friendly helpful staff. Comfy spacious room and excellent bathroom with bath. This is always a bonus for me.
Key to room a little temperamental but ease of entry and exit to property when staff not available. Slight downside re parking but staff made sure we knew where was suitable giving easy access to hotel.

Fantastic location, immersed in a park with centuries-old plants, a real mansion from times gone by. Excellent room. Genuine and home made breakfast. Internal free parking. Ian has been a truly wonderful host, a great hospitality and full of advice to improve our experience in Scotland.

We have visited Inverness three times now, but this was our first stay in Nairn. The beach is very welcoming with plenty of space to walk, run, play and enjoy the views; this is the kind of beach I would visit and walk along every day if I lived there. Located close nearby are various historical places to visit (Cawdor Castle, Culloden, Clava Cairns) and Inverness is not far away. Not being much of a "city person" I love to wake up to views and fresh air -- and Nairn offers places like the Invernairne Hotel that enable you to do that and still visit so much nearby.

Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness.
Lovely seaside town near Loch Ness. The beach was lovely to stroll along, as was the canal. Lots of restaurants dotted around town. An amazing ice cream shop located in park near the beach is worth seeking out. The architecture of some areas was stunning old Edwardian homes, really enjoyed wandering around the streets looking at them.

Charming town. I recommend visiting the Nairn Museum first.
Charming town. I recommend visiting the Nairn Museum first. Their volunteers are helpful and have first hand knowledge of the history of the town. I recommend having a car to travel to sites around Nairn that are too far to walk.

Nairn is a very nice town except for the High St which like most in Scotland is suffering at present. However nice to remember the old shops closed now Mackays grocer, Rose Brothers, Gauls toy shop Heards Morgantis to name a few, Nice to see Pat Fraser is still there. Recommend the Classroom at the top of the High Street to eat. Very easy to walk around and nice walks at the river.
The apartment is nice and clean with 5 bedrooms. Most of the beds were comfortable. The living room is comfortable for 6 people with a large television.
It was a little confusing to find the apartment because the outside door was recently painted a different color than expected and the lockbox is up the stairs but the staff was very helpful when I reached out for help.
Nairn near the beach is quite pretty. If looking for highland cows, they are near the Muthu Hotel, not far from the apartment.
Sunny Brae is a charming and relaxing place to stay! I can’t say enough good things about the owners and staff; they were extremely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and walking the beach relaxing. Comfy beds and clean rooms with attention to detail. Walking distance to restaurants and the shops in town. Would highly recommend staying at Sunny Brae on your visit to Nairn. Will remember our visit fondly.
Great communication from the owners Sharon & Greg throughout. Directions to the apartment were excellent with lots of local information to help us navigate the area- the secret beach was outstanding!
The apartment was presented immaculately with every possible need and detail accounted for including some welcome biscuits for our dog!
We had a very comfortable stay and would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of holidaying in this part of Scotland.
The apartment was extremely well equipped and presented and was very spacious and clean. The welcome box and prosecco was very much appreciated as was the milk in the fridge after a 5 hour car journey. Calum was extremely helpful and approachable and we would have no hesitation in going back again. As a family who regularly travel to Nairn we just hope we can get in there again as it is obviously very popular!
Myself and my family had a wonderful stay. Tariq and his staff will go above and beyond to meet your every need. John the Head chef 👌 catered for all my family (one vegan and one vegetarian) and his food was top class (better than a 5 star hotel I stayed in a few weeks ago). Rooms were spacious. 3 minutes away from the beautiful nairn beach. Can't wait to go back.
I was up to do a gig nearby and I finished quite late, so it was so good to be able to get back to the 1645 hotel and relax at the bar and enjoy some great craik from locals and staff. The breakfast was lovely too. Thank you for everything, if I get another gig up there’ll I’ll be sure and be back!

Excellent experience. Quiet location within walking distance of all amenities. The room was excellent and the staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was everything you could expect. As a regular traveller to the area this is the sixth Nairn hotel I've stayed in and definitely the best. I shall be back!
This was our best stay in Scotland. The B&B was beautifully furnished and the owners were just delightful people. I sat with a cup of tea looking out over the back green into the forest and it was just the most peaceful thing. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. 10/10!
location, friendlines and helpfulness of staff, wonderful breakfasts, nice selection of beers and comfortable lounge / bar area. the town of Nairn itself, comfy bed, value for money, shower worked perfectly, quiet room at back of hotel
The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The location was a short walk to the beautiful Nairn beach and to the downtown area. The hosts Arthur and Aileen were so kind and welcoming to us. The house was immaculate and beautiful.
The breakfast was cooked to order every morning, served with fresh coffee and your choice of juice and yogurt. Honestly, some of the best bacon I have ever had was served at this hotel. It was a lovely way to start each morning.
Warm-hearted, chatty hosts; really handy for Muthu Newton Hotel where we were attending a wedding; we could come and go as we wished; breakfast was exceptionally good; bed with new mattress supremely comfy.
Extremely friendly hotel owned by family. Very comfortable. Authentic Italian meal at night. Good breakfast. Comfortable room and beds, ensuite facilities
Quiet, peaceful, very spacious, nicely furnished place with all the amenities you may need. Nice location as well, as a base for sights around Inverness.
Such a beautiful location. Everything about this hotel is first class. Staff very friendly. Food excellent . Highly recommend and I don’t want to leave!
