Staff were really friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you, even though they have a very busy job and we're doing their best to keep up. The room location was brilliant, decor was good, room size was just about sufficient. Clean sheets and towels all round. Amazing breakfast. Would stay again and thanks to the wonderful staff.

The property and the work that has gone into the renovation is exceptional, clearly a lot of hard work and effort has been put into it and it shows. We had a great stay, so close to the town centre, ideal for visiting Glastonbury for a few nights.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the property. It is very spacious and has all you need for a home from home. The location is perfect with just a 5 minute walk into the town centre. The whole property was cleaned to a high standard and furniture and beds were very comfortable. We couldn't have wished for better hosts in Deborah and Tim, super warm and friendly and I really enjoyed reading some of Tim's books that were available in the property. All in all a perfect stay and we can't wait to go back

The attractions are all close to each other and walkable without needing transport. The Chalice Gardens are a serene and wonderful place to visit and definitely recommended. The waters are highly rich in iron and can be drunk in small amounts from the lion's head fountain (tested for potability). It is possible to paddle in the water due to its legendary healing properties. I would have visited the White Water Spring also, but it was closed on the day we visited as it is volunteer run and depends on their availability. The town is very interesting, especially if you are into crystals. We had lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bistros. A climb up the Tor is a must for the view from the top. There were three musicians making music in the tower and it was wonderful, it made my whole visit perfect. A visit to Glastonbury is as magical as its legends.

I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old. There is something very unique about this place. Embrace the quirkiness, enjoy the history, amble around the shops full of all things 'witchy' and have a pint at the pub. You won't regret it.

If you’re into alternative lifestyles laid back people, walks up the tor, live music, therapies and crystals you will love. Huge choices of esoteric goods. As ever be discerning in what you choose to do or buy! The Crown in the centre is a good option for Glasto attuned food with the kitchen open most of the day plus pub atmosphere! Handy when most of the cafes are closed in the late afternoon/ evening (review written in January!)

Excellent value for money and friendly, helpful hostess. Everything needed for a comfy stay is provided, including fresh milk and a complementary block of local cheddar cheese in the fridge :) It's an easy walk to the High Street, very conveniently situation next to a supermarket and also easy to walk to the Tor.

Glastonbury and the surrounding area has a host of places of interest, especially if one is spiritually inclined. The town itself is full of interesting shops, although in the evening, lacking paces to eat after about 5 p.m, particular veggie and vegan. A must see is the Tor itself, and the Chalice Well and other springs beneath it. Nearby is St Margaret's chapel and Wearyhill, which hosts the Gastonbury thorn, and also a fine countryside museum. Within the town is Glastonbury Abbey which also has a magical thorn and the said graves of King Arthur and Guinevere. Worth exploring and not too distant are Stonehenge , Avebury stone circle and, at West Kennet, an ancient stone circle.

The Woodshed is a lovely stylish and spacious cottage in a quiet location with beautiful countryside views. It is near enough to the owners other properties to feel part of a community yet very private. It is a short drive to Glastonbury. The woodburner was a real plus for us. Very comfortable with great facilities (including a utility room). We slept well. The owners could not have been more helpful, they were lovely. Excellent communication throughout. We appreciated the breakfast items provided- a lovely addition.

Jen & Jamie have created a lovely friendly, well-appointed 'home from home' which will be my 1st choice the next time I'm in Glastonbury (rather than chain hotels). It's cosy, clean, with a lovely bathroom (bath and separate shower), comfortable and welcoming. The lovely welcoming note and extras in the fridge etc. were a very nice surprise & much appreciated. Meeting Jamie as I left was a nice end to the visit. Look forward to the next one :-)

Martin and Sarah have really thought of every tiny little detail to make your stay comfortable. It's like a home away from home, and I always look out for it when I'm booking for the Glastonbury area, although it's usually fully occupied, which isn't surprising. Well stocked kitchen with all utensils and a good selection of breakfast ingredients, they even give you mini toiletries like an upmarket hotel!

Lovely place in lovely location. Had all the things you would need and all the information about how to use everything. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was comfy to be in. Very close to RSPB nature reserves and a quick drive into Glastonbury itself. Hosts even left milk, a bottle of wine, and some chocolate, along with a handwritten note. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect walkable location for the beginning of my retreat week in Glastonbury. Other guests were quiet and respectful. The meditation room was a lovely respite at day's end. The Abbey Farm Cafe is a wonderful resource a short walk up the hill or prepare your own breakfast at Camelot with organic produce and fresh eggs. The house manager was gracious and helpful.

Loved the location - right in the historic centre of Glastonbury, walking distance from all the sights we wanted to see. Loved the atmosphere of the hotel as well - felt like we had stepped right into history. Our room was very quiet, spacious and comfortable. Dinner in the pub downstairs was delicious, as was breakfast the next morning. A fantastic experience!
