The staff were great. Sandwiches wonderful. Gardens beautiful.
The room was certainly cozy. Shower room very small and a squeeze to use the toilet!
The evening bar meal was disappointing. Very small portions. Caesar salad was lettuce and a dressing! Dessert was good.
Located just 19.3 km from London, Toby Carvery Beckenham by Innkeeper's Collection is opposite Eden Park rail station, which has a 25-minute connection into the capital.

It's in a good location for bus stops and train station. Local shops and cafe nearby. I would choose these options for breakfast rather than pay extra for what the hotel offers.
The Manor at Bickley is an independent hotel and managed by the same family since the 1960s. Nestled in 6 acres of landscaped gardens, the hotel offers accommodation in Bromley.

A very comfy double bed; good shower-all in one hair/shower/hand gel which I don't usually like but it was a lovely gentle product, with a nice scent; great location, walking distance to everything; pleasant reception staff; and an overall very noticeable awareness of environmental protection throughout this hotel which is commendable.
Just 1 mile from Chislehurst Railway Station, the Crown Inn has a bar, restaurant and modern en suite rooms. Many rooms have beautiful views of Chislehurst Common.

Frequent buses and trains to London and outlying areas.
Frequent buses and trains to London and outlying areas. Bromley North has some amazing eateries, but you have to book well in advance. Bromley has a great Theatre where you can be entertained by great shows etc
Lewisham is not far by bus and you can catch the DLR from there, which can take you to great places like Greenwich. If you want to explore further into Kent, you can travel to Rochester which is another place well worth visiting. And further afield there are some great seaside places like Margate and Whitstable. You can reach these by train or car.

Looking at the dinning room, it appeared that only two rooms were occupied. We had an issue with our curtains in that we couldn’t move them. One stuck pulled back and one stuck shut so woke with a sun filled room at 6.30 am We left a note re the curtains but got a note left back to us to say they couldn’t be fixed

The Crown Inn Chislehurst is where we stayed…. The staff from the manager to the cleaning ladies were exceptional in the care and service they provided us. Nothing was too problematic for them . They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was excellent and cooked to order. Would highly recommend them.
The local train station gave easy access into London. If have a car and drive south pleasant countryside and interesting places to visit.

it was a nice experience nice area easy to travel to... staff were very pleasant we stayed in accommodation the whole time as myself and husband live in bromely but was just nice to get out of our own home. the spa was nice and relaxing, clean and tidy. i would stay again as a get away.
It was in an ideal location for visiting family in the area. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the decor was lovely.
Although the bar was lively and very busy on the Saturday night due to England playing South Africa, after 11pm it was very quiet. And a good nights sleep was had.
Breakfast was freshly made and beautifully cooked. We didn’t manage to stay for dinner as the hotel was fully booked in the Sunday - whic although was unfortunate for us, is always a good sign!
We had a lovely one-night stay in one of these studio apartments, and dined in the restaurant below (the Raj Moni). Our host, Anis, was absolutely fantastic! He was attentive and pleasantly conversational, and even offered a discount for dining in the restaurant, where the food was delicious (legitimately one of the tastiest dining experiences I've had). The location was in a quieter part of Bromley too, which suited us, but was still only a short walk from Bromley South station.
The location was great - near the rail station and the venue I was attending. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful especially Jess. I thought that the breakfast in a bag was good value and my room was quiet as it was at the back of the hotel. My room was clean and had what I needed. It mist have seemed a bit basic but It was what I required.
Rare in south London for a hotel to have good parking.
Room was very clean
Quiet with no noise from outside
Comfy bed
Nice bathroom and a good shower
Fast Wi-fi and a big desk, ideal for an evenings work.
Toby Carvery. Great value
Didn’t have breakfast but did enjoy a quick complimentary coffee. Nice start to the day
The area is quiet, calm and very safe and the hotel is just around the corner from the train station. The woman who works at the hotel is very friendly and nice, and there is a cute garden in the back to sit in for a bit. There is breakfast included in the stay, it’s not much variety but it’s nice to have as an option.
The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in - important when you need to be fresh for work. So comfortable I asked staff for the name of the mattress makers. Terrific breakfast too. I stay in a lot of hotels for work and a good bed, good breakfast, clean room and friendly staff tick all the essential boxes for me.
Tremendous helpful and friendly staff. Super clean rooms. Everything felt new and freshly decorated. The well-kept garden was a lovely oasis of green and calm. Great breakfast and dinner. The dining room is beautiful. This hotel far exceeded my expectations.
I look forward to visiting again.
Enjoyed my experience at the Bromley Court Hotel, All the staff are pleasant and helpful from the first experience of checking in at the front desk to the restaurants and bar, the cleaning staff, and house staff. The rooms are lovely. ‘Home away from home’
- Best value around the Bromley area from what I could see.
- Considering higher costs of other hotels in the area, this one was the best value.
- The receptionist was great.
- Close proximity to Bromley, walking distance.
The stay I had was amazing, it was very clean, the host was very communicative & I would definitely stay here again, 10 min walk to Bromley south & easy to get to. it was very reasonable too for 4 nights !
Room was perfect. Good size. Nice views of London. Bed comfy. Air conditioning was great. Shower lovely. Did room service. Fast delivery and amazing food for a good value price. Plenty of parking spaces.
Extremely clean. The host was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. The location was great for the places we wanted to go.Would definitely book again when we travel up to Bromley area.
Pros:
This hotel is in a quiet area.
There are cafes and restaurants nearby that are within walking distance from the hotel.
