The fantastic staff, tasteful and inspiring common spaces and my room too, free parking directly in front of hotel, serving breakfast to my room, really pet friendly atmosphere... And of course - perfect base to discover amazing historic cities Tarascon and Beaucaire. It was only positive, unique experience. I'd like to repeat the stay sometimes in the future.

Pool looked wonderful, room was a bit outdated but suited for the night and the food in the restaurant was great.

Incredibly nice and helpful host. The décor of the apartment shows that in a touching way everything has been done to make the guests feel at home. We had the apartment at the back of the house overlooking the courtyard. Wonderfully quiet. Our bikes were allowed to stand in the hallway.
Tarascon and Beaucaire are interesting medieval places, it’s worth it to have a look around.

This is a spacious apartment on the first floor of an older house. It's both comfortable and clean and is equipped for self-catering. I particularly liked the walk-in thermostatically controlled shower and the smart-TV. The apartment is very handy for the train station and buses to Avignon, Nîmes and Arles for example. There's a Super-U less than five minutes walk away too. Parking was full when I arrived, but cars seem to come and go quickly, and I was soon installed right outside. I would definitely recommend a stay here as a base to visit the area.
We stayed a few nights at Le Provençal and found the room size for three (2 adults, 1 child) to be larger than normal when booking for three--there was actually room to put a suitcase which often doesn't happen. Our dog was welcome, too. The staff were very friendly and helpful and parking was easy. The breakfast was simple but fine--bread, croissants, juice and coffee/tea etc. The hotel is in the centre of Tarascon and it was a good base to visit the surrounding areas.

The property is really charming, the surrounding pretty and the house itself excellent for a family. The owners even though about the little things one values when travelling with children - like a step for the kids to reach the sink or a potty. We all enjoyed the stay very much.
Daytrips to Avignon, Arles, Tarascon or Les-Baux were easy to reach from the location with a car.
This hotel seems to have been recently refurbished. A lot of thought went into the design and amenities available in rooms in this hotel. We traveled as a family and this was a great jumping off point for all the attractions in the area. It might be difficult to access this location without a car. The town itself is small - not touristy - just what we were looking for.
Very comfortable apartment for the family (even the bigger one). Fully equipped kitchen.
Very good sun exposition and terrace to take relax.
Very communicative and easy to contact hosts. No problems with taking the keys to the apartment.
Good location to visit the Provence area and neighboring cities.
Close to the supermarket and local shops.
I would highly recommend the place. Brilliant location, really nice lounge and rooms and the service was perfect including a good breakfast. We were very well treated by the couple running the hotel and a wonderful weekend ended with a nice ride in an old Renault 4L of the hotel owner to the Avignon train station as I could not get hold of a taxi.
The room and hotel building were beautiful. It is in a 17th century palace, decorated with taste to keep its noble appearance. It has several great details to enhance the place. Parking is available but not free.
Well organized, they recommend places for dinner.
Very clean.
Most hospitable hosts one can possibly imagine! their knowledge of the provence and the surrounding area is second to none. Their advice and recommendations are priceless and definitely made our trip. The property itself is beautiful, well-kept, and clean. Would return!
Very pleasant, quiet secluded chambre d’hote within walking distance of the historic district of Tarascon. Beautifully modernized old farmhouse with well-designed and equipped room with very nice bathroom and walk-in shower. Nice dining area for breakfast.
The host. He was a really lovely guy to talk to and very helpful for information about the locality. The room was well equipped, functional and even had its own balcony. The hotel was a 3 minute diagonal walk across the square from the station.
Remote location, very quiet, 20mn away from St-Rémy de Provence...
The "gîte" has a very nice setting, well equipped, it was perfect to spend 4 nights with my wife and 3 kids.
We also enjoyed the old goat, and a few chickens in the garden !
Beautiful hotel in a stunning Provençal location. Interesting concept to mainly use local, vegetarian produce and ‘help yourself’ attitude to meals and snacks. A great calm place to relax and a good base for travelling around the area.
Nice & friendly owner couple. They just finish retouching the entire townhouse. It has everything you need for a short stay. Our fifth stay on our Tour de France trip, and
it is the best.
Wonderful hotel and very kind staff. Beds very comfortable and very effective air conditioning. Highly recommend hotel des artistes to anyone in Tarascon, especially the balcony rooms
The Lady of the hotel was very helpful and friendly? She gave us information about restraints, sightseeing and general information about the area.
Thank you lady of the hotel.
On a small town of Tarascon this former likewise palace is a confortable stay with very eclectic interior and very very friendly hosts who are extremely helpfull.
