Didn’t look like much on the outside but was so clean on the inside you could have eaten off the floor. Room was totally updated, breakfast was wonderful, and we made a new friend in Marteen (sp?). Would highly recommend, without reservation.m

The apartment was centrally located with private parking at the rear. The apartment was clean with good kitchen and bathroom facilities. There was plenty of room for my family of four. We enjoyed the secure outdoor space in the evenings for games and drinks.

Perfect town to base yourself for cycling many bucket list climbs though a car is handy to drive to Aple d'Huez and Bessens for other climbs.
Still don't get why France shuts down from 12.30 on a Sunday as there are so many good restaurants but not opened when really needed.
We really rate the local Indochina restaurant - food superb and cheap.

You come here for cycling, and cycling only. it's very local, not touristy at all. 10 mythical cols (mountain passes) to conquer. it's the cycling pilgrimage every cycling enthusiast needs to do.

A small working town with limited tourism influence.
A small working town with limited tourism influence. There is a lot of industry in this area, but this is overshadowed by the beauty of the natural surroundings, so much so you can almost forget it is there. The surrounding areas are a haven for cycling enthusiasts with many many iconic climbs to test your stamina.

Really nice hotel in town - despite it being a scorching hot day, the aircon was brilliant, the beds comfortable and the shower great in the morning (perhaps a little more water pressure would be nice, but that is a super small point).
The manager in reception was really friendly and made check in and check out very easy. Given that we only stayed one night to drive down to Italy, this was a perfect stopping off point for the night, especially as the town is very pretty at the foot of the Alps.
Laurie’s place was perfect for our 6 nights in Saint Jean de Maurienne as a base for cycling in the area.
We had a secure place to keep our bicycles, the apartment was very clean and very well
appointed. We were able to cook and were able to wash and dry our clothes. Although not in a picturesque area of the town, it was very quiet and we enjoyed the open space around the apartment. it was easy for us to walk to the town and to the supermarket and bike shop.
The staff was very friendly, we were to late for the check in time. And together with the staff a solution was found so we could still sleep in the hotel.
They were thoughtful and really nice.
The room was also very clean. And the beds were comfy. The only downside is that the pillows are a bit firm.
I enjoyed my stay even though it was just fot one night.
The parking area disclosed from the road is also really nice.
A minor problem like tv not working was sorted quickly.
Always someone of the staff team available to help and a very family feeling, listening friendliness, making you feel inclusive and important. The Saint-George Hotel is a well kept and well run hotel with a happy hard working vibe even when its busy and, when I was there, very hot.
The hotel is beautifully positioned for the ferry. Breakfast is served early so there is no problem making the early sailing. The rooms are comfortable (although I wish they wouldn't call them cabins!) albeit very small. The facilities are well thought out and the breakfast was excellent.
Friendly, helpful staff. The location is great for walking into town. Ample parking behind the hotel, The food is basic but nothing was too much trouble. My son is vegetarian and although there was nothing vegetarian on the menu an omelette was rustled up willingly.
Booking.com let me boon a room eventhough they were fully booked. The amazing thing is that they were very friendly and called a befriended hotel in the neighbourhood and arranged a room for me in no time 💯
Perfect location for a group of 11 cyclists. Bike garage and parking to rear made it even better.
The staff / owners at the hotel gave us a fantastic meal on the last night which was the icing on the cake!
the rooms are big and very clean. I have slept in many hotels, but this one had an extremely good bed!
Good parking space, may be dependent on the time of the year.
I come here more often!
Very nice hotel on a good location with a private parking. Room was very clean, bed comfortable and big. Staff very very friendly, good breakfast. Everything was perfect.
