Porto Ôta is difficult to get to.
Porto Ôta is difficult to get to. From Calvi no public transport after august. The road is narrow and twisting but the scenery including Porto is beautiful. The best option is to hire a car as a taxi would be around €200 plus.

Porto Ota has a beautiful pebble beach of all colors.
Porto Ota has a beautiful pebble beach of all colors. It is a quiet town at the end of the road. It lies in a valley below towering mountains. There is much to see nearby. I recommend a boat trip to the natural beauties of Scandola Nature Reserve, cruising to Girolata, Creeks of Piana and Capo Rosso.

Porto Ota is beautiful and great location in regards to...
Porto Ota is beautiful and great location in regards to activities nearby. Scandola is a short boat trip away. Lots of hikes nearby (Evisa, Ota) and definitely worth the hike as the scenery is gorgeous!!! Beaches are nearby. The beach in Porto is rocky and not my favorite but doable.
Word of caution driving to adjaccio, calvi, Corte can be quite long and personally would not be suggested. If you wish to visit those spots book hotels there instead of using porto ota as a home base.
Hotel in a lovely place, one of the most beautiful areas of Corsica. Our first night we enjoyed the sunset at the pebble beach and explored the village. The second day we went on a boat trip to Capo Rosso, a place we hiked to the same afternoon after a 30 min drive up via Calanques de Piana. The hotel had nearly all facilities we could have wished for. They also offer a parkingplace in the garage when you book. So you don't have to worry about finding a spot. The view from the balcony was just like the pictures, wonderful.
Everything was very good, just one needs to know that it can be very noisy at night (people partying) as it was during our stay for one night-but maybe because it was weekend… We had the window open and had a nice fresh ocean breeze, but finally closed the window as the noise continued. We used the AC and it was fine. So really it was a nice place to stay and for good price. Reception was very friendly and also checkout very uncomplicated.
We found this little hotel to be very cosy and comfortable and to suit our needs perfectly. Since we were traveling by car, the parking spots in front of the place came in really handy and the lady who welcomed us was nice&friendly, she made the check-in process super easy and fast so we were in our room in no time. Would definitely recommend this place for 1 or 2 persons :)
Super friendly staff. Porto is a little gem, and the hotel with parking is looking out on the harbour. We had a fabulous stay. Hotel staff helped out with tour bookings. The pool is a little deep but a very welcome feature to this great place to stay with a family. Comfy beds, kids got a special unicorn-themed blanked. Breakfast is basic but very complete.
The hotel is built on the side of a steep valley. The rooms were mainly below the road level reception level and looked out over a small, but pleasant, swimming pool and a quiet valley. Being lower ensured that any noise from the road was inaudible. There was unbookable parking available in front of the hotel for about 10 cars.
Nice family runned hotel . Very friendly service and confortable beds. Free parking and a swimming pool and gardens.
Breakfast was reasonably priced . Was served a plate of fresh fruits. Very nice attention. Booked a boat tour and got 10% rebate because we were staying at this hotel. Good value for the price.
Lovely apartment-style room with kitchen. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and well-maintained. The best thing about our room was the large private balcony with unobstructed views of Capu D'Ortu mountain. We loved relaxing out there with a glass of wine as the sun down.
Large modern apartment with a large terrace and patio furniture. Free parking in front of building a huge plus. 100 meters from Port and restaurants. 2 good markets a km or so up the road.
Dishwasher and washing machine worked great.
The best place to stay in Porto.
The view from the hotel is great and our room had a nice little terrace. The breakfast is cheap and there is a lot of food!
It's fairly close to the sea/town/marina.
And the hotel manager is very helpful.
The AC works well!
Good value!
The space was roomy but the balcony was the best part. As photos show, there is a beautiful view. It was mostly quiet. great location - 3 minutes walk to supermarket and 15 to the port.
EVERYTHING! Magical visit to a stunning town, at a wonderful hotel! The view from our room was something we'll never forget. Special thanks to Serge, who was very welcoming and friendly.
We enjoyed our stay at Capo d’orto. Staff is super friendly and we enjoyed the view from our balcony. The hotel has washing machines that you could use, which could be useful.
Very good location and nice view from the balcony. Kitchen appliances were modern and high quality.
Room was quiet and comfortable. Good parking just at the door of the hotel.
