Extremely comfortable, clean and staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The owner gave us an incredible dinner recommendation which was a small restaurant in the next small village and was a truly memorable culinary experience.

I liked everything about it, location, decor, comfort and linens, plus access was very and free parking is five minutes away. It was the perfect location for my daughter, granddaughter and me, with a wonderful view of the village.

We had a memorable time staying at La Rivayne, which is a beautiful working farm. The stone B&B building is very new and spacious, decorated in an earthy/minimal style fitting for the farm. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They suggested excellent restaurants and places to visit. It was so peaceful being on the olive farm. Nights were dark and quiet, great for sleeping. The continental breakfast was fresh and got us started for the day. There were amazing views from the breakfast/bar room. We drove everywhere in the area, seeing many small villages as well as Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Marseille. The two rooms at ground level are great for us (mobility challenges). The two rooms upstairs had high log beam ceilings and looked amazing.

The property is great. It’s on the outskirts of Lourmarin and it take you into town in a few minutes. You can walk to town although it’s a healthy 30-40 min walk. Catherine the host is very friendly and knowledgeable. Always ready to help out where needed. The breakfast as well is amazing. Fresh croissant and baguette with home made ‘confiture’, and many other options.
The property feels brand new. Everything looks well taken care of.

The heart of Lourmarin, where we stayed, is extremely beautiful - cobbled streets and restaurants. If you cannot pull your bags for 100m, you may have a problem with staying in the heart, as it is paedestrian zone and the taxi needs to stop outside the zone - make a plan to pull your bag - it’s so worth it and very close to a not particularly friendly or helpful Info office, but still. Cafe Gaby is a win!!!!

Lourmarin is a lovely village with a great choice of cafes and restaurants and a friendly atmosphere. It is a good centre for visiting other areas within Provence. It is only one hour from Marseille Airport, but unfortunately there are poor public transport connections.

Lovely little provencal city with great markets on fridays and lots of good food. Pricey of course as all of France but I really enjoy the boutique shops which offer other clothes than your run of the mill articles that you find everywhere else... I recommend to go off season in may or september and definitively go for the classical music concerts in the chateau. Overall, I felt in love with this area:-)

Lovely village with lots of restaurants and great mini golf course alongside a restaurant - play golf then eat :-)
Lively music on both nights. Obviously popular with locals as well as tourists. Well situated for travel to other villages, lavender fields, hiking and cycling trails ....

Terrible, awful experience.
Terrible, awful experience. The worst host I’ve ever experienced - rude, sarcastic and dishonest. Totally disorganised as well, a shambles.
Many charming places to stay, avoid this one like the plague

Easy to spend at least a week in Lormarin and surrounding area. Lots of superb Luberon villages close by, as are Aix and Avignon. At right time of year lavender fields are fantastic (been before).
Lourmarin has multiple food choices from cheap and cheerful through to stylish in lovely environment.
Friday market is great, and there was a weekend Brocante this time, good fun browsing.
this house isn’t he beautiful village of Lourmarin is a real treasure. The host, Donatienne is a kind, thoughtful and professional person, and stying here is something very special. she has great style and the house has everything you could possibly need. it is perfect, and the local tips about where to go and restaurants are very special too. if you have the chance to stay here you are very lucky. we hope to come back next year - it’s worth the long flight from Australia 😀
Such a beautiful property. The photos don't do it justice. The two bedroom apartment is spacious and charming, but the grounds of the property are really what make it. The pool, gardens and restaurant are so stunning, it's worth making sure you have some time to enjoy it. The place is also walkable to the center of town for restaurants, bikeable to a few chateaus, but you definitely need a car for anything else. Would absolutely stay here again.
Rooms, staff, pool, hot tub, breakfast... Everything was fantastic. It was really quiet and serene, right in the middle of the beautiful nature of Provence. Being close to Lourmarin is a huge plus, since in my opinion it is the most beautiful and lively village in Luberon. Breakfast was quite good, but maybe a little bit more options would be better. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff were always helpfull.
Geraldine and Patrick are super hosts. Everyday we got tips for things to do and they gave us fresh eggs. To location cannot be better. Although the house is amidst the vignes, it is less than a 5 minute walk to Lourmarin. Ample parking and the house has everything you need, including excellent air conditioning. Real value for money as well.
Perfect location for us as I wanted to see the areas where 'A Good Year' was filmed for my 50th birthday.
I had never been to France before, it was exactly as I envisaged.
The accommodation was also perfect for us. We walked to the boulangerie every morning, we ate at Café Gaby in the town centre a few times.
Would certainly recommend.
I have stayed here before, the family who run the hotel are all extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pool is the most beautiful I have used and the room is great. They welcome pets, the restaurant is superb. There is Thai/Vietnamese cuisine every lunch except Thursdays and it is sooooo delicious and completely authentic.
This boutique hotel is in a perfect location right in Lourmarin. The village is quaint with lovely restaurants and bars right at your doorstep. The hotel has nice large rooms with excellent decors and rain showers! Perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway.
Absolutely lovely gite. Francoise, our host was very welcoming. Felt like visiting family. Lourmarin is a wonderful village...great weekly market, shops and cafes. Many villages shops and cafes are closed on Sunday but Lourmarin is lively and not crowded.
The warm and thoughtful welcome. Patricia has thought of everything. We appreciate her quick responses…as well as the coffee! That is VERY important to me! We also really appreciated all the hooks for hanging clothes, which is rare in France.
A wonderful house in a lovely location right on the edge of the delightful town of Lourmarin. A stylish house filled with interesting objects combined with home comforts and a glorious garden and pool made this the perfect stay. Loved it!!
The villiage comes alive at night with a lot of little restaurants and shops. The hotel supports the locals by selling and using their products in the hotel. The villiage forms a unit of ancient buildings being kept alive by the residents.
Great location in the beautiful village of Lourmarin. Characterful provincial property set around a courtyard. Nice and quiet yet just minutes from the heart of the village. Wonderfully helpful and accommodating host. Thank you, Rose!
Stunning property with a massive room and kitchenette, comfy bed, air con, terrace, pool. Aurelie was super friendly and even let us check in early as we had driven from elsewhere in France. A short walk from Lourmarin
Tastefully decorated, comfortable home in a quiet setting. Everything you need is available and host helpful. Love the quaint town of Lourmarin and the people.
