People were kind because they wanted a tip as everyone else in this Country, but that's not enough, not even fair for the amount of money you're paying here, almost 40 dollars per night in an old and worn out hotel. And the location was in the center, far of the Alexandria Library or museums, you have to pay a taxi.

Visiting town centre, with its many suks, was one of the highlights. Major sights like the Library are well known. Less so the newly renovated Greek and Roman Art Museum. Our guide didn't intend to take us there but we insisted and were very pleased that we did as it is one of the most important museums in Egypt.

Everything is great there, whatever historical places or nature or atmosphere in the downtown in the night.

There is no place to take a pleasant walk in the city or spend time except the museum and library. It is a very ruined, chaotic, noisy, dirty city with terrible traffic, so walking or hanging around is not only unpleasant but also tiring. However, its library and Greco-Roman Museum are incredibly impressive. Other museums are very ordinary. Seafood dishes are very fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Therefore, I think 2 days are enough to visit this city; You can spend a lot of time in the library and the museum, take a coffee break in a cafe (the number of stylish ones is almost nonexistent), take a short city walk and see what looks like it and gain insight about the city and have a seafood dinner in the evening and continue on your way.

was a lovely hotel, staff all friendly, my only complaint is that everywhere you went you could smell cigarette smoke, people smoked in the lobby, and the corridors the rooms, even though my room was clearly labeled no smoking everything stunk of cigarette smoke including fresh bedding and towels. this for a smoker would be not noticed, but if like me and my daughters (all nonsmokers) it was enough to put a black cloud over the whole holiday .

I was pleasantly surprised by Alexandria.
I was pleasantly surprised by Alexandria. It is a big, bustling city, and parts of it are very dirty. However, there are so many interesting things to see, and it is pretty easy to get around, I used Uber. It’s a very interesting city, and I recommend giving it at least a few days.

The hotel has a Golden Age dmfell with grand rooms and lobby. Good customer service polity and friendly staff. The room service e was quick and food very good. The only thing about the hotel is the exterior it needs a good paint and refurbished of the master entrance and windows. These could attract more people if they would return the sidewalk sitting as before
This is one of the best hotels in Alexandria, highly recommend! Before going to Alexandria my colleague from Egypt shared that this is a very good place to stay. Location is perfect, close to many city attractions, enjoyed much evening walkings along Corniche street to Qaitbay Fort. The hotel is very stylish, old style elevators are already worth to stay here, you could enjoy it much. The room was with a view to Midetterenean sea, it was amazing! And try their breakfast, there is a good variety of dishes, it's really tasty.
The hotel does not live up to five stars. His rating was 7.8, which does not match the rating. It is much less than that. The service doesn’t good. The beach is very dirty and the services are poor and sea dirty which doesn’t not possible to swim in it. The pool is crowded with Egyptians whose swimming in their clothes, it mean that no suitable to swim. The restaurant is very crowded and the service is not good. This is the second time that I have been disappointed in your evaluation of the level of hotels in Egypt.
Stunning views of the seaside, we had nice time sitting on the balcony and enjoying the blue waters and waves. big comfy bed, cosy sofas in the living room, spacious bathroom. there was a large table to have our food on 😍 breakfast was a nice selection of vegetables, meats, cheeses and tasty Egyptian foods 😋 there was freshly made omelette. views over the sea from the breakfast restaurant. highly recommended, excellent location
it's very good for Egyptian family or a business man in Egypt. breakfast is very good personally I'm a coffee drinker all the day . I'm hardly eating Breakfast or lunch .I do love the smile on each employee face specially when they tell you Good morning . the word good morning can melt any thing ( that is what I believe ) Keep up the good work and the SMILE .

The staff are friendly and the hotel is super clean.
The view was exceptional.
Bringing the breakfast to the room felt like being royal 😍.
The room was super clean and felt really cozy.
I will gladly repeat the visit as soon as possible cause I've really enjoyed my time , truly honestly I've had a blast 💘❤️🌹
The Challet is located in a large compound that needs passes to get into. This means that it is very clean, not crowded and not full of the usual pullution you might find in big cities in Egypt. There is also access to food delivered directly to your door and it is two minutes from the beach.
Amidst apparent chaotic urbanity of second biggest City of Egypt, Alexandria, the historical mini-castle and now hotel allowed for tranquility and inspiring beauty from the very moment entering the reception/ lounge and all the way up to the roof terrace with a relaxing view and restaurant.
everything, especially the staff and the team who are working at the reception desk, they were so professional, friendly and they know how to help and support the guests.
I’ve stayed in many hotels in Egypt but actually this team are the best team I’ve ever dealt with.
The hotel had welcome water and guided person even it is ran by personal. All buildings in Egypt are not renovated from out walls, but this room inside is classic Europe Style, very clean and tidy. The host is warming and we shared our stories in the old life.
The hotel is a very cosy place near to the sea in Alexandria. Mr. Ali makes you feel like home, and it was very nice to feel that on our first stay in Egypt. Thanks for everything, if we went back to Alexandria we know for sure where is our home.
One of the best hotels in Egypt, staff is very helpful and cheerful, food is excellent with many varieties at breakfast, the sea view is outstanding, thank you so much for fulfilling my requests and trying to help by all means.

I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel manager who spares no effort in monitoring the staff performance and satisfaction of the guests. You truly set an admirable example. Thank you.
Location and the place itself. The lebanese restaurant serves nice food and the service is excellent. The Syrian chef and the Egyptian waiter are super nice.
