The receptionist was great! She was so helpful and very good english speaker, which surprised me in a good way for sure. She upgrade our room for free. Wish you the best. :)
Also the location was great. Not so far from SDQ airport, 10minutes by car.

They have a private parking place, feeling safe. There was man standing outside and opening the gates. We appreciate that. :)
One more thing to add: THE FOOD AT THE RESTAURANT. The breakfast was stuning! And we also went for the dinner, tapas was perfect. :)

Very nice staff but disorganized matching of clean rooms with empty rooms. Facilities aren't the cleanest or newest but if you complain they do their best to rectify.

The food was great.
The food was great. The conditions in the rooms were very poor. Had to go to the front desk numerous times throughout my stay. The phone in the rooms or not working. The power Hotel went off numerous times and by the time they're generator would kick in we had to wait. We had to wait hours for towels because they didn't have enough clean ones. No shampoo no soap in the rooms.

The area is very noisy. A lot of traffic on the road.
The area is very noisy. A lot of traffic on the road. I did not feel safe and therefore did not explore the area. We stopped over one night and it was one night too long.Only encountered one person who spoke English and therefore it was very difficult to communicate with the locals.Hence your requests were dismissed because they do not understand what you are asking. Even with google translate it was quite a challenge.

Bo a chica has a nice and very vivid atmosphere very close...
Bo a chica has a nice and very vivid atmosphere very close to the airport and only 30 min from santo domingo center. You can tell it is a place where people living in the capital like to come to enjoy their week end. Unfortunately most people to not seem to care about littering resulting in the beach being full of litter. Another disturbing aspect is how everything there seems to be linked to prostitution justice anywhere else in coastal dominican republic when not in a big resort with a private beach.

Beach:
Shipyards opposite the beach.
Beach:
Shipyards opposite the beach.
Sand is grey and hard, not nice at all, and there is no privacy.
You can walk a 100 m but still, the water is to the knees. Also, the beach is packed with restaurants and bars with very loud music, and prices are very high for tourists.
Many locals are coming here as well so beach is too crowded and it is dirty everywhere, and I would never recommend it.
Surrounding area is dirty and we did not feel safe walking around, stayed most of the time inside the hotel area.
Prices in the restaurants are very high, we paid 1300 Pesos (around 25$ for 2 dishes, one fish and one chicken with potato, on a square right at the very noisy street, with plastic tables and chairs, served on plastic plates and cutlery. Dishes were tasty but not worth the price.
Definitely not a place we would ever chose to come back to.

Boca Chica shows the essence of Dominican Republic.
Boca Chica shows the essence of Dominican Republic. Narrow streets, terrible traffic, unplanned lifestyle and unfortunately very poor towns. Beaches are so nice but local bars are to pushy. It is not a place where you can take a relaxing vacation at all. Unfortunately the local tourist offer is not friendly, even there is a sensation of scaming style all the time, either in restaurants, bars, or even Uber.
Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. The hotel owner is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay.
Very comfortable. 1 minute walk to the beautiful beach of boca chica. Breakfast was really good. Would definitely stay again
excellent location, it’s right on a beach. staff is very friendly and accommodating. I’ve stayed multiple times at this hotel while in Boca Chica and I’m usually saying at a standard room, it’s good for me. however, I think their bigger rooms would be better for a couple. good breakfast in the morning and coffee. it’s a great value for the money.
We stayed in Punta Cana for 4 days but wanted to experience Santo Domingo as well. we spent a full day at this hotel. the location is perfect. everything is walking distance. the supermarkets, the pharmacies, restaurants and even the beach.
we stayed in the one bedroom and it was quite cozy. felt like I was back home in my apartment.
Right on the beach and hot showers too! You can't go wrong. The hosts were very friendly and fantastic! I met locals and expats, they had great coffee and food, and I will be back for sure. It may be hard to tell from other reviews but this is probably the very best place to land in Boca Chica. Cheers!
it's an old hotel. room are not really new anymore. but compared to other hotels i guess the best Option in boca chica for that price. own beautiful beach with not many people. good pool. breakfast is big and ok. beachbar. most quiet spot on the beach
The hotel is very cute with a lot of greenery inside. Good location to go to the airport the next day early in the morning.
The room was spacious and clean. The food at the restaurant was very yummy and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Very clean. Nicely designed hotel. Some private parking spaces. Located on the main street across the beach. Many locals and street food, cafes. You feel safe in the hotel. The terrace pool is nice and give a decent overview of the area.
Being on the beach doorstep and a stone throw away from the main street of calle Duarte is the absolute positives of this hotel. So useful to have it all there. Staff are helpful both in English and Spanish which was useful.
The room was big.
The room was clean.
The AC worked great.
Nice balcony on 4th floor, not crazy about the stairs but the room was quiet for Boca Chica.
I did not use the pool but it seemed above average for Boca Chica.
for a hotel so close to the airport I was very disappointed with the staff ability to communicate effectively in a different language other than Spanish . I found it a bit challenging
Breakfast was delicious, good selection, great service. I liked the hotel location, close walk to the night life if you want, but far enough away to be quiet in the hotel.
