Very nice location at the border. A lot of shops in the same building. The only minus would be that the parking for the hotel is on the 6to 8 floor and it's a bit tricky to get from the parking to the reception. But for the rest it was really good. Room extremely big for a hotel room.

Very easy check in process and located close to a shopping center (great grocery store and lots of places around to eat). Was quiet and had no concerns.

Brilliant place by the German/ Swiss/French border- its a busy place with great access to the major highways and a hub of public transport. It has a large Turkish community which is thriving with lots of Turkish restaurants, eateries, grocery stores and really nice shisha bars. Shopping is great and youre amongst nature with the greenery around you. You have the new Galleria mall as well as the other great shopping places.

Very busy shopping center.
Very busy shopping center. Various eating places spread around. Industrial zone., Two good Kebab places plus a boring McDo where finding P is easy. Normal Lidl. Quite a nobody place to compare with major German citities and towns. Why I do not know. Too close to Switzerland?

A place close to Rhein and Basel.
A place close to Rhein and Basel. Popular shopping place for people living in Switzerland. Industrial zone. One or two decent hotels. Next to Autobahn. Does not appear to be touristic, but I only stayed in industrial zone. Most of Germany in this region is beautiful with a lot of agriculture.

Despite its train station being under construction and having a somewhat unappealing business district, Weil am Rhein offers conveninet access to the Vitra Campus and a small Altstadt area. My wife and I enjoyed an informal, outdoor pizza dinner hosted by Ali, the friendly and welcoming manager for Yusuf's restaurant on Hauptstrasse.
The atmosphere of a family-owned hotel with state-of-the-art comfort and environmental consciousness. Rooms are so pleasant, and the passive-house technology guarantees comfort without all negative aspects of mechanical air-conditioning. I was lucky to have a room with south-facing balcony, and the bonus of spectacular chill-out moments in the sunsets after a day in the museums and exhibitions at reach from Weil am Rhein. Breakfast may seem overpriced, but it is indeed good value for money considering the care and quality of the service.
Our room was on the ground level, which made it so much easier. It was quiet, peaceful, and short walking distance to neighborhood markets and food places. Breakfast was traditional German/European, and it was plentiful. The host was very welcoming and genuinely concerned with our satisfaction. The room was spotless, an absolute joy to stay in. On the Tram #8, line, and an easy, 15 minutes, maybe, taxi ride from the France side of the airport.
The Pension may not be located centrally in Weil am Rhein, but it is not a problem - great access to city center and to Basel by bus or by train. Close to the famous Vitra Campus, which was our main reason for visits.
Our room was huge, the beds very comfortable and the balcony was an added bonus.
There are no breakfasts, but there is a supermarket just a few steps away, with a small cafe serving good coffee and basic breakfast fare.
The room was large and the beds were pretty comfy, it was also pretty quiet and we had a sofa and a minibar which made a nice change. We also really liked that the hotel was located directly between the two borders with Switzerland and France and was a very short walking distance away from the Baden in Blut metal festival we travelled specifically to attend.
Breakfast was very nice with large selection of hot food, bread, semmeln, cake etc.. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location with bus stop in front of hotel; Bus #55 passes every 30 min into downtown Basel. Lots of free parking; some nice restaurants in walking distance. Vitra museum in walking distance too.
The staff are flexible. I did not realize there was no AC and with the hot weather it was a struggle for the first 2 nights. The staff accomodated us into the AC room the 3rd day/night (they did not have the AC rooms available the first 2 nights). The AC rooms are much more spacious. The hotel is very clean.
Great hotel in a nice location to access restaurants (sadly the hotel restaurant was closed the night we were there) and very convenient for catching a morning flight from the Basel airport. Happily, the church bells change from ringing the quarter hour to only ring the hour after 10pm.
Very nice quiet hotel. Big airconditioned room and ability to have dinner outside. Enough parking and very near to Basel and A5. Great place to stay when you travel further to the south, or to visit the Basel region. I loved it.
The location is perfect. Close to where I was going. Close to a shopping mall and also a supermarket.
There is a park in front of the hotel, where people can do some jogging, but I chose a route of much longer distance.
Excellent hotel. Large clean rooms, plenty of power sockets. Nice bathroom with powerful shower. Great breakfast selection and generously portioned dinner options. Freeparking. Friendly staff.
Little hotel with cool staff and amazing breakfast. All new or renovated. Nice place to stay outside the big cities around and visit by bus or train. Excellent food at the restaurant as well.
Fantastic location in Weil am Rhein, its on the main road where all the shops and restaurants are and a 10/15 minute walk to the Galleria Mall and mainline, Weil Am Rhein Tram stop-8.
Very good location, 1 minute walk to the tram station and then just 15-20 mins to Basel via tram. Very cozy hotel, good restaurant inside, very friendly owner, very clean room
Breakfast was excellent and good value at euros 10 each. Hotel was fairly close to Basel Airport. Room was adequate. Once we had gained access everything was fine. (See below)
Near the border, 15 minute ride to Basel and a tram station right in front of the hotel. Very convenient and quick no-contact check in was the best experience!
