We were in Deidesheim for the yearly festival mid-August: great wine, great food, great weather and great atmosphere! Even if you miss the festival, it is a nice little village with many options to eat and drink and enjoy the surroundings.

The hotel is unusual but very special - it is filled with a fully catalogued collection of art, enamels, ceramics and jewellery along all the corridors and in the circulation spaces. The rooms were generous and comfortable and the staff (though we barely saw them) were very helpful when we needed them.
