The location is fabulous! Right in the middle of everything. I was worried it would be noisy, but it was very quiet. Room was clean and quite roomy with lovely décor.

Location, breakfast, polite personnel, building like a castle
Hotel Hohberg "Next to BBC Arena" is situated in a residential area on the edge of a forest, 4 km from the centre of Schaffhausen and 6 km from the Rhine Falls.
Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the prestigious Guildhall Rueden is a successful example of the architecture of this time. The refined façade allows you to forget the 21st century.

Loft appartment: Very friendly and forthcoming owner, no question left unanswered, we felt very comfortable and got very useful tips on the location. The appartment stands out by its interesting design. Kids were amazed. Adult thrilled. One unique feature is the net up top where you can lay watching down at the living room.
One word of warning is the attique bedroom is not suited for the older folks (as you have to climb up the ladder to access it).
Otherwise the appt is fully equipped, we spent a great easter weekend in there and would for sure come again.
Great for parties.
Very good: Design, uniquness, amenities, location, kids loved it.

Great town: beautiful old city. Great region.
Great town: beautiful old city. Great region. Top attractions are the Rheine Falls, Stein am Rhein, but a not long train trip takes you to the german city of Konstanz. You can get boat trips on Lake Konstanz.

Very nice hotel with just 8 rooms, so well maintained.
Very nice hotel with just 8 rooms, so well maintained. Staff were exceptional and everything about the room was great. Location is perfect for walking the old town and along the river. Super close to the rail/bus station with easy access to northern Switzerland and into Germany. Several grocery stores (Co-op's) within a few minutes walk. Nice restaurants and shopping. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fun and the food was great, too. Would stay her again.

Even without visiting some of the attractions (IWC Museum, Museum Allerheiligen), Schaffhausen is worth the stay. The sceneries from the Munot and of the Rheinfall are magnificent. The old town is worth a walk with a lot of possibilities for shopping (even if you do only "window shopping").

Schaffhausen is a charming and beautiful historic town located on the banks of the river Rhine. Wonderful for relaxing and wandering the cobbled streets or along the river taking in the nearby Rheinfall waterfall at Neuhausen.

The boat trips to the Rhine Falls were spectacular.
The boat trips to the Rhine Falls were spectacular. For the kids Smilestones is Switzerland in miniature and is housed in an air conditioned building next to the falls. Nearby Stein am Rhein's colourful and historic old town is brilliant but so expensive!

Was only in town for one night!
Was only in town for one night! Sadly it rained day of arrival and day of departure!! Did not know about the music festival. Accommodation was heavily booked. I missed the waterfall, received poor directions and also did not see any signs. Nice town overall. Would return!
If you're looking for a truly vintage and magical stay, this is the place. The hotel (manor) is very traditional and reflects the past and present of Switzerland, especially the interior. The rooms are cozy and remind me of a good 1940's movie. Beds are ultra comfy. The hotel is just within 5 minutes walking distance from the city center (literally a bridge that takes you right to it). Breakfast was fresh and staff were attentive. I enjoyed meeting Max Millian (I hope I got the spelling right) :).
Awesome apartment to stay when you are planning to visit rhine falls. We really enjoyed our stay there when we were in Switzerland. The facilities were really awesome and the most liked part is the furniture, the kitchen and the color changing lights..
The staff was so friendly, answering all our queries
Though the staff couldn't receive us in person, she was so helpful contacting us and directing us very friendly through messages and Whatsapp.
Very spacious. Helpful receptionists (check in through the adjoining Mexican restaurant). Good facilities. Parking was tricky as it was a bit busier when we arrived (a bit earlier at 2pm) but eventually was able to get a spot on the street with a bit of patience. Parking voucher was given by hotel receptionist after 6pm for free parking until 11am the next day.
we did not make the booking, we only booked directly with the hotel where we will be staying in May. I live in Thailand. I have no idea how you got this January reservation. please may I have my money back
I wrote to your company and to the hotel about the mistake l. I think I deserve a refund please or the charge deducted from my stay in May
The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, with clean bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The location is right in the old city center, next to a beautiful old church. Parking is right in front, and the hotel provides free parking vouchers until the following day. The staff was friendly and had no problem speaking English with us.
Very quiet location, close to the woods but within walking distance of the town.
Facilities provided everything needed for a 5 day stay. Very reasonably priced, especially when compared to hotel accommodation in the town. Host provided videos to ensure guests were aware of aspects of the stay e.g. laundry, garbage disposal.
The location and parking were perfect! Close to everything especially down town. We enjoyed walking around and the VIEW from our room was AMAZING!!! Thank-you Hotel Kronenhof and I hope some day to be able to return! Loved our stay there!!!!
Everything went very well. We had a great time, and when we return to Schaffhausen we'll stay at the Promenade. I was expecting okay, and we got great. Two thumbs up to the staff, they are next level.
Location is very convenient and ideal to visit Schaffhausen. Lots of nice shops and restaurants / bars nearby. Last but not least, view on the Rhine.
The hostel hosts are very friendly and welcoming.
This is a lovely hotel very convenient to the train station. The room was large and the shower was strong. The amenities were great and the breakfast selection was outstanding. We will come again.
The location was good with free parking and walking distance to major areas.
It was fun to be able to rent a large area and playground equipment to play outside the hotel.
Great location, very clean hotel with helpful staff. Room and bathroom were both large with plenty of space for luggage and travel kit. Included breakfast was very good.
The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was really friendly and willing to help all the time. The hotel is just few steps to the Schaffhausen city center.
