We would stop in Castlegar at a hotel in our way from the east Kootenay to Kelowna. We decided to head down to Genelle instead. Only added 5 minutes and this B&B sure beats the chain hotels up in Castlegar.

Modern, quiet despite construction happening all around. Excellent restaurant on site albeit pricey. We stayed here during off season therefore hotel was not busy. Got an upgrade to a large balcony suite (thank you).
