I had never been before in Aarschot. But it is a very nice city to visit. Many beautifull housese, old begijnhof... It is not a big city, but from here you can make trips to the surrounding city's, Scherpenheuvel, diest..

The rustic rooms over the river were scenic and relaxing to sit and snack on local cheeses and wine while looking out over the Demer River. The breakfast was very good! Ideally some shuttle or taxi service to Aarschot train station should be offered.
