We are so thankful we came across this glamping site! We were looking for a place to relax, spend time as a family outdoors, and get away from the normal routine of life... we are avid campers, but we decided to give Quinta dos Corgos a try after a stressful year and needing something easy. It was the best decision we've made in awhile as this place exceeded our expectations. We have stayed here 3 times already this year, and we plan to come back year after year. We have 4 kids ranging from 2yrs-9yrs. Between the playground situated between the tents, the mini farm with animals and fruit trees and a garden, the pool and coal-heated jacuzzis, the friendly staff, and the cozy tents, it's an incredible experience not just for the littles ones but for the whole family. The restaurant has delicious food when you want to treat yourself to a meal, but the equipped mini kitchen in the tent also makes it easy to throw meals together. All in all, amazing experience.

This was such a good experience. Diana was an exceptional host. We arrived on Christmas Day and they had put a cheese platter and a bottle of wine for us. We originally booked a small tent, but because there were no one else, we were upgraded for a bigger and more luxurious one. There was a sweet cat named cookie that stayed with us, and even though it rained outside, it was very cozy. The day after, when we wanted to leave, there was no buses due to the holiday, so Diana even drove us into town, so we could continue our journey through Portugal. This place is totally recommendable - if it had been summer, and if we had more time, we could easily have stayed there for several days.

Amazing service and breathtaking location. The staff is gentle and caring. Our dome was fabulous and roomy. The jacuzzi function on our hot tub wasn't working yet the staff arranged for an outside jacuzzi which was perfect to observe the night sky and relax outdoors protected from the cold weather.

Also, they have wifi and cable TV, plus a tennis court that can use some work but is still nice to play on, especially against the wall they built with a net line - rackets and balls are included at no charge. The owner also has a small shop next door for some basic necessities, and there are towns in both directions from the main intersection. Ask the owner about how to get to Churrasco da Glorinha for what might be the best roast chicken experience ever.

What I really liked was the fact that it was something out of the norm. Instead of the normal hotel experience we decided to do a little "camping tour", with the most adorable puppy. Really fun, highly recommend it for camping enthusiasts, but with some precautions...
