If you are travelling to Mount Fuji, this is a MUST STAY!!! Prior to arriving, my fiancé and I were feeling a bit hesitant as we did not have a car, and were unsure how we were going to access restaurants/ the main town. BUT, this was not an issue at all. If you are also concerned about this, please don’t be!!! We were collected from Kawaguchiko Station at 5pm on the day of our arrival. The staff were so accomodating and flexible to collect us despite 5pm being outside of their shuttle collection times. We really appreciated this. Each day, the staff operate a shuttle to the main town, leaving at 10am and then collecting you again at 3.30pm or 4.30pm to return to the campsite. We used this service on our full day at Mount Fuji and it was perfect. We didn’t feel like we needed a car at all. The staff at Kawaguchiko Station are so knowledgeable and helpful to support you to find your way around the main town. There is a free shuttle service to main parts of the town which we used to spend our day at a traditional Japanese onsen. We purchased breakfast at the campsite both mornings that we were there. It was delicious and I definitely recommend this as if you don’t bring your own food, you won’t be able to access food until you use the shuttle and get to the main town. We chose not to purchase the BBQ dinner as we thought this was quite pricey. Instead, we use the Cafe at the campsite to order some wood fire pizza’s. The cafe is open from 9am to 6pm. We pre-planned and ordered our pizza’s at about 5pm. We then kept these stored until we were ready for dinner and reheated them on the barbecue. Much cheaper and still delicious. So if you also don’t have a car, there is definitely still ways to access food with a bit of pre-planning. Our campsite was warm, cosy, clean and the view of Mt Fuji is breathtaking!!!! I don’t think you can find a more incredible view than at Qoonel!!!

Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat, hoshifull dome offers the perfect escape. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating experience.

Nastanitev Glamping Dome YOSHIMURA s klimatsko napravo je v mestu Fujikawaguchiko in ponuja balkon. What an incredible find. Very clean, great utilities. Barbeque was amazing. The view was great too. This was my favourite place to stay in my Japan trip. It cost only 25k yen for two people. I wish I stayed longer. The view is amazing. The owner responds quickly over text. The car park can have 2-3 cars but the roads are very narrow it's tricking getting around there. You will have a very hard time if your car is big. Almost every utility you need is included. If you buy food and sauce, everything else is there to have a great barbeque. Most appliances are in Japanese only and Google translate is not reliable enough, it would be nice if the owner provided a guide. At night in winter it was very cold. The heaters are okay, but don't cover the bathrooms. It would be nice if they had a dryer. The washing machine doesn't dry clothes. During the day with the curtains open, it's very hot and bright. It would be nice if there were more AC units or a small curtain covering the top of the window (so we can still see Fuji). It would be nice if the outdoor kitchen had hot water as well. Also a cloth to dry the dishes.

The view from this place is a amazing , clear view of MT FUJI . Really loved the food provided for dinner and breakfast during my stay. Hands down best stay during my 3 week holiday in japan.

The glamping was nicer than I thought it was going to be, very cozy, nice touches around the property, & awesome bathroom….shower/tub.

We loved our stay at Glamping Resort Varie!! The staff was incredibly kind and the manager helped us call taxis to and from the location we wished to visit when we were unable to do so ourselves and was readily available. :) We also had a beautiful view of Mt Fuji from our pod.

The simple tent was charming and allowed us to be in nature while having the creature comforts of beds, heaters and electric outlets. The meals exceeded expectations. Having stayed in both the tent and the Mars dome, we found the dome dinner/breakfast very good. But we enjoyed the tent dinner/breakfast even more – grinding our own coffee beans and having the crunchy granola and hot sandwich at breakfast, as well as the delicious stewed chicken at night. Appreciated the clean shower and friendly staff.
