Van der Stel Manor is situated in a residential area, 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. The restored Cape Dutch home features a garden and outdoor pool. The breakfast was outstanding!! Please be really hungry so you can enjoy it at your leisure. They make the most delicious scones and that’s before the egg options.

Boasting a splendid setting between mountains and sea, this charming Provençal style guesthouse is set in the historic town centre of Hermanus, overlooking the picturesque Old Harbour. The service is exceptional! nothing was too much trouble and the team went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The front desk arranged dinner bookings for us. Breakfast is included the luxury of an a la carte menu, the coffee, pasties and cooked breakfast prepared and served professionally. The spa treatment (couples massage) is out of this world - again one of the best we’ve experienced. Overall this was the best place we’ve stayed in, in Hermanus.
