This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

We were very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed by Marcia upon arrival. It was very quiet, clean and comfortable and since we are travelling by bicycle we had asked to have supper at the Quinta and we were very well served a delicious meal. Our view from bed was straight down the Douro Valley and a stunning sunrise was a perfect start to the day. Breakfast on the covered terrace fueled us for a walk downhill amongst the vineyards. Our host was generous with a glass of his delicious wine and conversation. I would definitely stay here again but next time for more than one night. It was a very sweet place.

The breakfast was just great! The super friendly stuff brings it to the room every morning and you can enjoy it while having the best view out of the bedroom. The room is big and offers comfort. The pool area and the surroundings are just marvelous. The stuff is so friendly and willing to help with all the questions and the wishes you may have. We will return, for sure!
