Situated in Takaka in the Tasman region, Labyrinth Gardens Guest House offers accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. It was so cosy and comfortable. We loved the setting, hosts were amazing. Would highly recommend the Labyrinth Guest House.

Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Owners have created a friendly 'spa' atmosphere that is very welcoming, and a great respite from the twisty drives out to Takaka.

I lost my passport and Doug the handyman kept me sane by keeping me entertained. Terrific breakfast. Huge room. Loved the old fashioned villa style. Full of character.

Ashley Villa, built in 1891 is set amongst farmland in beautiful Golden Bay. It provides a unique country homestead experience. Takaka is 7km away. I loved the gardens, the beds with flannel sheets and down comforters, the dog Zoey and mostly the host Jude. It was all so lovely!

Nestled in Takaka Valley, on a 31-acre lifestyle farm, Golden Caves - Bed & Breakfast offers remarkable views in all directions and is just steps away from Abel Tasman National Park and beaches. The breakfasts were exceptional. Completely organic/homemade with products from their land. Fresh fruits, juices, preserves, meat, veggies, eggs etc etc! We purchased Renes pizza for dinner. The best pizza we have ever eaten!! Outdoor hot tub (star gazing at night), sauna and jet swim pool, sun decks, bird aviary. Accommodations - private bed/bath, shared living room and dining room with lots of space and furniture, outdoor sun deck area with seating and tables. Brochures for areas of interest in Nelson. With direct beach access, Summerspring Beachfront Accommodation is located in Takaka. Each room here will provide you with a seating area. Beach was amazing, great that they allowed us to bring our two dogs. Great owners and knowledge of area.
