This place is a GEM. It’s a bit out there, but I like places that are a bit more removed. The view is spectacular, the room was clean and comfortable. Additionally, I arrived super late due to ferry schedules and was met by the owner who recognized I’d not eaten and made me dinner. We sat up and chatted for ages, she was so kind. It’s been just amazing and I can’t recommend this place enough.

At the inn all rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. the shared and kitchen is great, very well equipped and spacious. the shower was very good as well. the room was decent size and the view from the windows very good as well

Situated at Nyksund Harbour, this family-owned, eco-certified guesthouse offers a restaurant and rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi access. Myre village centre is 15 km away. Wonderfully shambolic accommodation full of bric-a-brac. Lovely looking restaurant and charming host. Nyksund is quite a way from anywhere but well worth the detour to see. In March there was virtually nobody else there but I suspect it gets pretty busy in summer. Would highly recommend.

Melbu Hotell is located in the small fishing village Melbu, centrally located in the Vesterålen and Lofoten regions. All rooms have a TV and free WiFi. Nice hotel with really friendly staff. It is located directly next to the ferry terminal - so you can put your car into the line and have another coffee. Great!! Everything was clean and we enjoyed a very good breakfast.
